My writing covers a wide range, with fiction being my favorite to create, with two dozen or so titles under my belt. There are 18 titles in my YA interactive Try Not to Die series and 24 more in the works. I also have two nonfiction titles, both inspired by a reckless lifestyle, playing Ivy League football, and battering the hell out of my brain as an unsuccessful MMA fighter and boxer. Unlocking the Cage is the largest sociological study of MMA fighters to date and TBI or CTE aims to spread awareness and hope to others that suffer with traumatic brain injury symptoms.

TNTD: Super High was ridiculously fun to read! The whole idea of bath salts/new rabies strain is horrifying to think about, and the consequences of something like that could absolutely be catastrophic.
Things escalated so quickly also! I was doing really well for a while with minimum death, but I suddenly started making some extremely poor decisions 🤦♀️ death came pretty swiftly after that! There was one choice that I didn't think was super clear, and it led me to death because I thought the choice meant something else. Other than that, the deaths made sense when looked at through my poor decision-making 😂
TNTD books are always such a treat; this one went pretty quickly, but mostly because I had to keep reading to see how I was going to get through everything! The ending felt a touch abrupt, but I like that it was kept a little vague so that I could decide what I wanted the end of certain characters' stories to be.
Try Not To Die Super High by MarkH Tullius is the 16th book in the try not to die book series and I have read all of them except grandma‘s house and the wizard and I must say I have yet to get tired of them I am glad despite the book being interactive That there’s two different parts the interactive part and then the story even as someone who is blind I love the interactive portion although I don’t farewell in most scenarios although I did do good at the music festival one I don’t know why but either way I love these books and totally recommend them. I get that they are for teenagers and I am in my early 50s But the heart wants what it wants lol!. It’s a really really good read if you’re not into guns and shooting maybe skip this one but there’s violence in all of them so pick your favorite trope and rewrite the story. #NetGalley, #TheBlindReviewer, #MyHonestReview, #Mark, Tullius#TryNotToDieSuperHigh,
Okay I messed up and did not count how many times I died, I was keeping track and lost my sticky note lol
Oh Mark should make TNTD Bookmarks so you can keep track of your death total!!!
I was at 4 when I lost the sticky note.
Anyways, this is another fantastic book to add to the TNTD line up, it was so much stupid ridiculous horror fun .
When you are going hard in Miami to celebrate a win, you expect a few bad trips, but when the trips dont end, and shit gets real dark, thats when maybe the party needs to wrap.
Every step you take could be your last when you have to choose, this, or that, from trying to escape the club to getting to a underground bunker, will you survive or are you way too Super High?
TNTD Super High follows Jake, a 19 year old who just finished an intense shooting championship match. His older cousin Geo wants to take him out celebrating in Miami, but is warned not to by his father/Jake's uncle. There's been a recent history of strange attacks in the city, vicious attacks by people with almost rabies like symptoms. Against his advice, they lie and travel to the city anyway.
This is a TNTD book. Jake should have trusted his gut and followed his uncle's advice.
TNTD meets a different kind of zombie attack. It's full of death, death, and more death. Again, like every TNTD book, I truly tried to live, and failed miserably. I would not survive the rabid Miami incident. Well, I actually wouldn't have even made it out of the initial shooting competition alive, but who's counting?
Me. I'm counting. And I died 8 times.
I love these books and have so much fun dying. The deaths are creative, the choices are truly difficult to make, and it's a fun, gory ride along the way.
I am never disappointed with a Try Not to Die book! This one follows Jake and his college-age friends to party at a downtown Miami club. There have been warnings of some crazy attacks by ‘Bath Salt People’, but they ignore paranoid Uncle Shawn’s warnings to stay away from downtown. After the group is well-impaired at the party, they receive an evacuation order. From there chaos ensues! It’s a wild ride right from their attempt to leave the club and through the streets of Miami in an attempt to get home to the bunker. This one is action-packed, full of creative deaths, and tons of fun!
Geo takes his cousin Jake for a night of partying in Miami, Florida. Jake has just won a huge gun shooting competition. They were warned not to go out. Now everything is falling apart. There are crazed people in the streets. Jake and Geo have to make choices to survive. The wrong choice ends badly. Fast- paced non-stop action filled read.
Another brutally violent adventure where your bad decisions are rewarded with a good time, and this time, you get to be high for it! Can you survive? I died 5 times in this one.
Try Not to Die Super High is a fast pace, bloody fun trip trying to survive in an interactive storyline. Where all your choices matter, so choose carefully how you want to advance before you turn that page. Death just might be waiting for you. Not to worry you, like a cat you will have at least nine life’s. Well maybe not exactly like a cat, but you will get to start again and choose a different direction. I can not get enough of these books. They’re super duper like Mark Tullius, the killer mastermind behind the creation of the TNTD Series. This one is set in Miami Florida and written by Steve Montgomery. How many times can you survive?! Honestly, it won’t matter you’ll be too emerged into the story to care. I know I was.
WOW... nerve-wracking all the way through... I felt like I was there with them watching for the next attack... Wish the ending could've been different but understand the end anyway. I'd recommend to anyone loving a great horror story! 5 Stars from me!
Super high was a blast of a book, so fun to read and so many choices to try not to die. Of course I died a few times during the story which was totally fun since you get the opportunity to choose the right way. If you've never read any of these books you need to start having some fun.
I did pretty good! Only died twice! I’m getting better!! I really enjoy these books. They are fun stories and super interactive. I wanna know if Jake turns or not 😭
