What would you do if you see strange creatures emerging from a river? What are they? What do they want? One of them is in danger. How will you save them?
Born and raised in Omaha Ne. I met the love of my life here and we were together for 30 years before he passed on 12-25-12. The stories that I'm publishing are his brain children. He loved writing, but never had any luck getting his stories published back in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
So now, with the advent of self-publishing and him glaring over my shoulder, I'm finally able to bring his children to life for the world of readers. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. He had a wonderful but dark imagination. So much of himself and me are in these characters.
As authors our recognition comes from readers and their reviews. So please leave a review, whether good or bad, when done. They will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
I love book covers and have to say this attracted me immediately. (I'm not referring to the old one shown here)It is absolutely perfect for the tale. The story is told by the male in the picture and he has been dropped off somewhere remote to spend two weeks on his own fishing. Something he enjoys, except the story takes a twist when something is taking his food and food is left in return.
It is intriguing. What could it be? They must also have some sort of intelligence as they select fish he likes. As he is so remote, this is not another person. This is something else, but what?
In every good book, there is a line, a paragraph, or a situation, that you remember most. For me, it is when he spends long hours stretched out on a tree branch getting stiff and hungry waiting to see what the creature is. There are many memorable moments in this story, so there will be one for you.
For such a short read at 99p/99c it packs a great punch, and perfect when you have an hour of relaxation to spare.
I really enjoyed this story story. It offered a lot in only a few pages - mystery, paranormal intrigue, and emotion. There was nothing predictable about it, and I thought about the characters long after I read it. Without giving anything away, I struggled between wanting to know more and being thankful I knew less. LOL
If you love supernatural sci-fi books, you will want to pick this one up. You won't be disappointed!
In Memory of Michelle by Sahara Foley An interesting paranormal thriller, a young man in 1918 went on a camping trip outside of town. What he found was a memory that haunted him through the rest of his life. His haphazard meeting with Michelle, showed him the nature of trade. Its an interesting story about cryptid creatures and their mysterious nature.
A man goes camping/fishing and encounters "creatures". He is as curious about them as they are about him. With the detailed description the author gives you can picture exactly what they look like. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys tales of the unknown.
