This series must be read in order. This is the first book.

Gabe is a normal conflicted teenager. He is just having a really bad day. First he forgets to do his home work. Then he gets texts from both of his parents saying they are getting a divorce and then promptly trying to drag him in the middle of it. If that all wasn't bad enough he gets knocked out by a basketball to the face right in front of Jade... The one girl he truly likes. But it's high school and it will be over soon enough. Sent to the locker room he hears strange noises and finds his first Zombie. The apocalypse has begun without him even noticing ! Will they make it home and save their families? Will they find a safe place? Or will they be bitten and turned into the undead?

This was an amazing start to what looks to be a great new series by #zombiequeen C.M. Wright! The characters are younger and that makes how they deal with the trials of escaping and destroying all the zombies that much more amazing and thrilling. I can't wait to see what happens in Zombie Crash Course: Zombie 101 Series!!!

Gabe is in high school and wanted to be in the in crowd so he joined the world of the Jocks. In this world the Jocks date the cheerleaders and no one else. So when it was mentioned that he likes a girl named Jade they picked on her. He had to pretend that his best friend wasn't his friend. High School drama. All that changes on day when his whole team turns into Zombies. He and Jade head to his house to get his sister and they end up running into his best friend Michael. They all head out to try to find somewhere safe. Not without quite a bit of trouble in between.

My opinion: This is a short story but I really like it. I thought that it was very well written and you don't want to put it down, you definitely won't want it to end. It is about a group of young kids trying to make it in a zombie apocalypse. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series and finding out if we see more of Gabe and his friends and how they are fairing in the fight for survival.

We all know that I love love love Zombies, and this author. This book didn't disappoint. It's set up so different from ther Zombie Overload series, but I'm in love. Can you tell? I'm dying for the next installment. This time, we get high schoolers fighting to live and surviving the Zombie attacks. I think it's great, these characters are all level headed and mature beyond their years. It's an exciting novella and a must read!

WOW ANOTHER GREAT STORY BY THE QUEEN OF ZOMBIE BOOKS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS AUTHOR . ZOMBIE BASICS IS ACTION PACKED, THE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE ZOMBIES ARE THE BEST I HAVE CAME ACROSS, YOU GET A CLEAR IMAGE IN YOUR MIND OF EACH OF THE ZOMBIES. CANT WAIT TO READ MORE ABOUT GABE AND THE OTHER CHARACTERS.

Well this is a short but adventurous read full of all things zombie related and how to survive or not. Excellent short read!Love this author!!! The cover on this book is great also. I didn't start out being a paranormal reader but this author is great at adding humor into her stories and great at coming up with a good story at the same time.

More zombie adventures. I was never a big fan of zombie books but I'm glad I took a chance. I truly enjoyed her style of writing. Following Gabe and Jade across the country is a definite adventure. I will be looking up more books my Ms Wright.
