Book 7 of the next hit Progression Fantasy series from Actus, bestselling author of My Best Friend is an Eldritch Horror. Featuring a strong, intelligent protagonist, a detailed runic magic system, loads of power progression, and so much more.
With over 10 million views as a webserial, you can experience the definitive version of this smash-hit series on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!
Actus has been writing fantasy stories since the age of twelve, and he's been telling them since he could talk. He's currently working on three main series - Morcster Chef, Steamforged Sorcery, and My Best Friend is an Eldritch Horror. You can find his works on RoyalRoad & Patreon as well as on Amazon.
In addition to his passion for writing, Actus is capable of clearing a two story building with a single jump. That isn't true, but writing about himself in third person gives Actus delusions of grandeur.
Golly! Gee! Best book evarrr! Best series evarrr!!! Actus never let's you down, each book just gets better and better! I love Noah, Moxie, and Lee and their students. But currently the three of 'em are still stuck in the Demon Plains! And Noah is workin on a plan that'll get 'em back to the Mortal Lands before the exams! Unsurprisingly it turns out that Demons are just a misunderstood race and with a nudge from Noah they'll be freed from their hunger! And knowing that, he plans to also bring along his new Demon allies/friends. After finally catching up with Wizen he's actually able to talk sense to the guy, convincing him that he's fundamentally wrong. And with that they're all able to put action to his plan and get back into the Mortal Lands! Phew! They're all finally out... but that's just a prelude... And really what is up with that Grimoire? Wouldn't you like to know, well so would I and Noah too!!! Really y'alls gotta grab the book and you'll absodamnlutely enjoy this grand adventure!!! Guaranteed!
The overall style and tone of the series continues throughout seventh part of the series. I'm particularly unhappy with how much the story line progresses in #7. Not much happens, the plot goes through two or three major events, and the book feels like it could be composed of four or five chapters. If a particular concern could be shared by multiple characters, their thoughts and repeated conversations are sure to be used as filling material.
Here we are book seven. The characters are wonderful. The dialogue continues to tickle my funny bone. I regularly stop and read sections aloud to my partner just so I see her reaction. She always smirks because the dialogue is always humorous even without any context. Definitely jump into this series and spend a few enjoyable afternoons in this wonderful colorful world.
I'm just flabbergasted, the words can barely come to me. That was not how I was expecting this book to go, not at all. It was an intense ride, a rollercoaster of lore drops. And that ending, why Actus? Why?!?! November is going to feel like a lifetime away now. *sigh*
I really love the whole series... and I won't say why I removed a star, but the ending for those who have read it... may update depending on the next book
