In its best moments it was equally good as the Magician however as a whole not quite as epic. Still extremely enjoyable with all the characters you grew attached to in Magician. Will be reading the next book
More solid characters and the bashful young Jimmy The Hand. Just check it out. And, as an author myself, I love the non-political correctness of this medieval world.
