I always wanted to be the kind of person who journaled every day, but even though I like writing, I could never make it more than a few days. Maybe having some direction will help. I listened to the audiobook (which was nice because Franssen has a calming voice), and I hope to put some of his tips to good use. Maybe this time next year, I'll have a stack of notebooks with my own musing and be that much closer to having self-knowledge. Huge fan of this guy and can't wait to read more of his books (especially The End of Female Evil).

This is a very pravtical guide. It lays out a self paced class to help you get started with journaling. It includes a variety of prompts to make your writing flow. Since journaling is part of my New Year's resolutions, I am glad to have found this booklet!

Straight forward and useful

I found the book easy to understand and well written, with a lot packed in its pages, as well as some practical examples of writing prompts.
