NoelBroken flowers are my specialty. I’m able to envision the beauty they hide, and encourage them to thrive and bloom.

This one’s a keeper. Such a shame she doesn’t understand her value outside of the boardroom.

Kaye

My work has been my life for as long as I can remember.

I can’t believe how quickly time passed me by. What do I have to offer a soul as old as Noel’s with a mouth as dirty as a sailor’s?

I don’t understand what he sees in me, but the heat in the bedroom sets fire to the furnishings. Sometimes love finds you at the most inopportune moments.

Reader, writer, dark romance and crime fanatic. An avid book worm, collector and hoarder of all genres and tropes.

If you can’t find it, write it. The same applies to art in all reading formats. If the book you want to read or write in isn’t available, create it.

Aussie, Jack of several trades—trained as an editor, an auction clerk, an export trader, community volunteer and event planner—still expert at none.

GLH has experienced working on everything from journals, to editing, and covers for other Indies, while building her own back catalogue. Subsequent research lead
to publishing the parody ‘A Reader’s Tale’, novellas, penned as Evie Campbell.

Happiest reading and creating in the dark.

Notes from the other side of The Happy Endings.

Like any other business industry, publishing industry too has a backstage. With talent and hard work of some of the incredible storytellers, there will always be others who try to piggy back on the legacy and magic.

This is the last ( almost) story in the mini series - encounters from the backstage of Indie romance.

True talent will persevere - they will continue to write; they conjure new characters, stories and angles to tell that story. Because they cannot live without those stories!

But … sometimes it’s not that simple as just writing what you love. Sometimes - there are other forces at play.

Or sometimes it is quite simple. The author calls its simplicity employed by some - “Read.Rinse.Repeat.”

This collection is quite eye-opening and yet interlaced with endearing love stories in each part. Sweet, funny and written with ease and beauty that only a mature, talented writing voice can develop.
I love this author’s writing voice - its depth, focus and graceful vivid storytelling. Easy, clever and a bit heartbreaking at the same time.

You know what they say - some fairy tales don’t have happy endings.

Well, this one doesn’t.

Because it’s not a fairy tale.
