This book is absolute fantastic read. Although its quite thrilling and adventurous but at the same time, its a fantastic love story. Both Aaditya and vaani's love story will take you to whole another level. Even the more interesting thing about this book is that this book has given a new genre to whole Indian readers.

Review:

Pl Let Me Go is a Post-Apocalyptic Romance, Prassant Kevin's debut novel, published by Notionpress Inc., and also claims to be India's first ever "Post-Apocalyptic" book.

First off, the writing is lucid, which is a good thing for a debut. And if the "About the Author" section on the back cover is to be believed, then "Pl Let Me Go" was one of Kevin's old unfinished film screenplays and if there's anything that I've learned from years of Indian Cinema, it's that the stories written in the period between the late 90s and the early 2000s were highly melodramatic. And although I don't know exactly when this screenplay was written, but this book suffers that side-effect of metamorphosis from a screenplay to a full-fledged novel.

"Pl Let Me Go" is the story of Aaditya Jaiswal, one of the few thousand ...oh well, just insert the first paragraph from the blurb here.

[Edit] I'm adding this old amazon.in review of mine here, and this was when I was completely new to book reviewing:

For a Romance Thriller, it is good. For Science Fiction, decent. Actually, I'd say it's a good attempt for a debutante who's made a debut with an entirely new genre in India. The occasional action sequences are good, the romance that starts to brew eventually between the lead characters is also good.

Where the book falters, is the Outline(i.e., the progress of the story). It's a Post-Apocalyptic Love Story set way in the future in around 2035 or so, so you'd expect some advancements in the technological aspect because the pandemic mentioned takes place in 2020 or so, advancements are bound to be by then, right? But, alas, there is no thing as such in the book.
This isn't a NEGATIVE review, I've only pointed out that ONE flaw I found in the book.

Rest assured, it's a treat for romance lovers all over India. The story is rich, the genre is novel, the characters have been well-sketched the occasional plot twists are worth it.

This book loosely narrates the love story of 2 people who wander in a lost country, finding meaning and a ray of hope. The story is set against the world that has 98% of its earthlings wiped out due to a terrible plague. One of the unfortunate survivors embarks on a journey to find out people like him and trembles upon a maiden - Vaani.
Not knowing the dark secrets that each of them hold, they befriend each other after vaani saves aditya's life and set out to find vaani's dead mother's long lost love. In the journey to follow they accomplish a mission, with the two becoming one on aditya's birthday, but vaani soon leaves him without telling him what is holding her back.
3 years later they both unite, only to learn that it was vaani who killed aditya's parents in a car accident. Aditya shattered on learning the the truth but he can't help loving vaani and saving her from all the woes.
This story ends with aditya sacrificing his love and life for vaani.
Effortless narrations, beautiful descriptions, mystery, suspense, and a heart rendering love story make the page a page turner. The concept is unique and one of its kind. The way in which Kevin describes the horror of his homeland, sometimes sends chills down your spine. This is a story that will linger in your mind even after reading it. It couldn't have got any better. All in all you will love to read the book, time and again due to the turns and its story which is full of life. Thoroughly loved the book.!

A MUST READ BOOK

I loved it from the word go. This is a romantic book and it completely excels in that. The characters are well defined and powerful. The settings were beautifully narrated. The plot and the climax is something that will never let you put this book away. The story is not too much stretched, romance is irresistible and sparkling. I am quite excited to read what the author comes up with his next- This is indeed a beautiful book to read.

For a while, I had been looking for a book. I had read all of the books on my bookshelves. I only had two or three books I hadn’t read! But I wanted a book to read that would make me happier than all other books, that was good or even awesome. Suddenly, there was a book that all of Mankind was talking about, in the bars and cafes. So many people talked about it, it made many beers glowing in the bars and cafes. I assumed this author made a million, or even a billion, dollars for his greatest Love story of all time, between a man who totally gets the best car, and his Lover woman who is full of innocence and Love.

There are things that happen, and words! Bloody things go awry, and a man’s street does not recognize him. But he stays strong and finds a Love that will not destroy him, because he is handsome and makes her life worth living even though he fell in love with her voice which he did not be recognizing when they met. You may think this world they are in were saved by a hero, but that is not what happen even though that is how it is in movies.

Another things I enjoy about this book is its papers, which all have numbers, and also words! It even had a picture on the cover which made my heart swell and filled the empty void within me. Will I fill that hole with the next book in the series? Time will tell? After enough time, things change quickly!

So read book! Know word! Have much happy fun! Pl read it.
