Never ever ever underestimate a practical guide by Icon Books!

Its clear to say that psychology of relationships is the perfect beginning for anyone interested in this topic. John Karter writes in a clear conscience manor with references to theories and books written by authors. I will be purchasing paperback edition for my bookshelf!

Highly recommend

I enjoyed

I enjoyed reading this book. I thought the author was concise, but did seem biased on a few subjects. Overall worth the read.

This delivered on its promise of being a practical understandable guide to the psychology of relationships, though it is clear that however prepared you might think you are for love, those heady early stages of romance will test your ability to think rationally. This would be a good post relationship breakdown debriefing tool. There are a lot of ideas and much wisdom packed into it and it is narrated in a very accessible friendly style.

Quick & interesting read. Few key ideas, 1.) Purpose of a relationship is not to have another who might complete you, but to have another with whom you might share your completeness 2.)Two monologues do not make a dialogue. 3.)Do not let the Sun go down on your anger. Talk about your negative feelings before they turn into resentment and potentially create an even bigger problem.
