Inheritance is a haunting collection of speculative short stories about memory, guilt—and the past that won't stay buried.
Stories include Devour, a tale of a young girl searching for her mother in a living house; Bury the War, which is about a bounty hunter tracking down deserters in an abandoned research facility; Four Walls Forever, which asks questions about the meaning of life, and if it ends while we are still alive.
The other stories included For the Views, Sapphire Road, Through the Door, and The Last Speaker
Inheritance invites readers into a world where every answer has a price—and sometimes, remembering is the most dangerous act of all.
Won this in a giveaway. Most stories were pretty good. Devour was my favorite, Four Walls was the most unique and the last speaker (I think that’s what it was called) was my least favorite.
