I had the opportunity to ARC read “Split Between Magic” by Nesi L Stone and I absorbed it all in one sitting. The plot is great, and just when you think it’s going to be predictable it takes a whole different turn. Nodins character is strong and faceted, and I feel like she has immense character growth as she learns to trust; both herself and Roman. I think Roman however has bit off more than he can chew.

ARC review:
This book takes readers on a compelling journey with Nodin, a young woman caught between two halves of herself as she searches for a place to truly belong.
Nodin's character radiates strength and confidence as she bravely shares her secrets and flaws with Roman, revealing her authentic self.I loved the pen pal dynamic between Nodin and Roman – it's a sweet and classic concept. Their moments together, especially the visit to the caves, are truly memorable and special. Frequent repetition of Nodin’s name might become distracting for readers.I’m excited to see what happens in the next book.

This book was such a magical surprise. Split Between Magic pulls you into a world of elemental power, layered emotion, and a main character who is struggling to find her place between two halves of herself, and I was hooked from the start.

Taya is so easy to connect with. She’s trying to carry the weight of a prophecy she never asked for while navigating all the pieces of her identity and past that just won't stay buried. Her journey is intense, empowering, and emotionally charged. You feel the pressure she’s under, the heartbreak, the confusion, but also the strength. Watching her come into her power felt so satisfying.

The world building is rich and unique without ever being overwhelming. I loved the elemental magic system and how it felt both ancient and fresh. The relationships, both romantic and platonic, had so much depth, and the tension? Whew. It kept me turning the pages.

This story doesn’t just serve fantasy. It delivers heart. It’s about control, fear, power, and the cost of choosing who you want to be. If you love books with strong heroines, lush magic, emotional complexity, and a little bit of chaos, Split Between Magic is the kind of story that will stick with you.

I cannot wait to see where the next book takes us. Taya’s just getting started, and I’m here for it.

This was a quick read from single POV.
I feel that the book could have been a bit longer and developed slower as I struggled with what was happening at stages but it is fast paced and drew me in to the point that I read it in one sitting.
