CAROLINE SHEPARD grew up in Manitoba, and spent the best of her summers poking along the shores of the Winnipeg River.She has since lived in Ontario and Quebec,with periods of work,study and travel in the UK, the US, Europe,and Africa. She was first published in leading literary journals at age fifty.
