Nuno Gonçalves has been devouring books for 30 years. The joy of reading fueled his desire to one day see his own words on paper, bound, awaiting a reader. However, he chose a different path, and Medicine drew him in more than literature. He maintained his connection to books, reviving his reading habits and running a literary critique blog for several years. After embarking on a journey in fiction writing, he won the António de Macedo award in 2022 and Grande Prémio Adamastor 2024 with "O Pacto", his first novel, and was the Portuguese finalist for the EACWP micro-stories competition on two occasions (2022 and 2023).
