This is a short survey of law from historical point of view. This book is written primarily for law students in the Philippines and aids in understanding the history of different legal system of the world as well as the legal tradition of the Philippines. It traces the developments that lead to the Philippines having both civil and common law traditions.
I would not say that this book is entertaining since its primary purpose is to inform.
