these books are the most funniest books i have ever read. the other reasons i like these books is because you always want to know whats going to happen in the next book you want to find out want happens next.my favorite book is diary of a wimpy kid the last straw, the reason its my favorite is because its funny and you want to no wants going to happen next

I absolutely love diary of a wimpy kid it's a great book series and novel! I have read all them and waiting for book 11! The author Jeff Kinney said that he will keep making more books for the series! It's a Awesome book series but book 10 and 7 are just ok. But the bottom line is that diary of a wimpy kid is great!

Brief Book Summary
Greg is starting middle school and he is not part of the popular crowd. His mom bought him a diary and the book is told through his entries and comic book drawings. He is obsessed with video games, gets bullied by his older brother, and annoyed by his overprotective parents. Greg and his best friend Rowley take on middle school together, with some bumps along the way- some including Rowley becoming popular in school after Greg hits him off his bike and breaks his arm. The two’s friendship is torn apart when Greg gets Rowley in trouble for something he didn’t do, but at the end of the book, the two mend their friendship because Greg takes the blame for eating moldy cheese, even though Rowley did it.

Response to Two Professional Reviews
I really connect to both of the reviews. I love the illustrations that are in this book- Greg’s intonation throughout the book is very montone, but his illustrations as to what goes on bring it to life. I think this book could be perfect for children who are not fond of reading, since there are connections to their own lives in it. The pictures are funny, as the Horn Book stated, which will engage readers in the story.
Evaluation of Literary Elements
The pictures in the book coincide with the text. They depict what the character was experiencing, although there is no color to show the mood or tone that is to be picked up from the illustration by the reader, which is opposite of Molly Bang’s text. The way the author describes everything that goes on and in such detail is a characteristic of a “well written book,” according to Tunnell et al. I think the language is easy enough for children to read and enjoy. This book could be used as a stepping stone to chapter books and “pictureless” books for younger children, since the language is easy to read and comprehend and there are still some comics and pictures.
Consideration of Instructional Application
I think a mini-lesson I could do for this book in a reading workshop would be to have the children analyze the feelings in the text through the descriptive words used. I think finding an underlying tone of the reader’s emotion would help the children understand the main character more, since his feelings are not always apparent in his entries.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: #1-5 [Box Set] is a great collection in the series Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
My kids absolutely loved this series. It is fun and will have you laughing out loud.
There are many books in this series some better than others, but they all have one thing in common, humour and the ability to make fun of oneself.
The pictures and jokes just make it all that much better.
Read along you won’t be disappointed.

December 11, 2020داستان های بسیار جالبی است هم برای نوجوانان و هم برای والدین. درکل متن جالبی داره و خواننده رو درگیر می کنه. اشتباهات والدین رو گوشزد میکنه و کودک و نوجوان را با داستان خود سرگرم می کنه و تجربیات هم در اختیارشون قرار می دهد. در کل به کودکان و نوجوانان بالای 7 سال و والدینشون توصیه می کنم.

Hello my name is Carlos Amado and today I will explain to you about the book of the diary of the wimpy kid first we are gonna give some recap of the book and the answer some questions so you get a better view of it. This book starts with our main character Greg Jeffly and his best friend Rowley he is the dumb one, they have a new risk and new danger incoming, (HIGH SCHOOL!!!!) This is some big news for someone that is just entering it since it is a very dangerous place or at least like that they describe it in the book, the goal of Greg is to become really popular and he actually like this one girl she is kind of pretty actually but she doesn't like being popular so he tries to convince Greg Heffley to join the news paper club with her but Greg does not want to he want to become popular. So he begins to act like a popular guy he tries to do new sports, work out, and hang out with Rowley, not a play time. But then Greg starts seeing that Rowley is messing a little with his goal of becoming popular and he started to get more annoying with him he even played a game with him and broke him arm on purpose and in the future he became more popular than Greg, so Rowley got the last laugh. But there is also a happy ending Greg got also alittl popular and ended with girl of course and became best friend with Rowley again.
So after this recap I will answer some questions: I would give this book a 5 star rating, since it is a really good book that has helped me in various ways and has made me have fun in moments where I should be sad or deppresed this is also a really short book so I would say that helped also and I would definitely continue reading the other books because this one is just simply perfect.
The major question in this book is how will Greg Heffley become popular since it is just and mystery and you never know what move Greg will pull out of his head so this book is so fun and has some questions that may leave you thinking.
I would say that my favorite character in the whole book is Rodrick, since this guy is so funny and he literally saves the whole book and is always there to annoy his little brother Greg Heffley so he is deffitly one of the best ones. Rowley, is also one really good character in the series since he is always there when you need him and will always care about you in moments where he should be mad or something he will always understand you.
I would say this book relates to me since Greg and me have almost the same age.
I think this book did not change me as a reader.
I recommend this book to all of those persons that like to read.
