Théoden: On the evening of branding my new son, Noel, my King has called a special meeting of his Court. I can't possibly guess what this meeting is about, as everything within his kingdom is running perfectly. I do know one thing, Ara loves to entertain and be entertained, so at least that's something to look forward to. What I'm not looking forward to is having to see Nolan, Lord of District Four. Interesting developments of Théoden and King Ara...
Théoden dragon's blood can do cool things:
I raised my body temperature to a boiling point , making my system hot enough to produce the dragon fire.
My hands started to glow bright red and then the flames burst forth, burning Nolan’s arm. He screamed and let me go.
I whipped around, holding both hands out before me and blasted him with flames from my open palms like water from a fire hose.
His clothes caught fire and then he did. I lowered my hands and watched as he screamed and rolled on the floor over and over, extinguishing the flames, stopping them from consuming him.

No spoilers-- but sooooo much more is learned about Noele's new family and his own past. Even more teasing to me, was learning more about Theoden. He may rule his family, but his is not in control of everything!
I can't wait to find out where this goes--- so many possibilities with the expansion of the Vampires domain, more information about dragons and hints of the werewolves!

Hmmm. Not my favorite one of the series. I did like the other books so I think its because the book is majority Theoden's POV. He seems very stiff and not very likable. I know he's supposed to be a big baddy but there has to be something for me to like to want to read books about him.
I will have to say the chapters with Noel's POV were the best.

This is the first book in the House of Théoden series, which is a continuation of the Chained in Darkness series. You could probably figure things out if you started here, but you really need to read from the beginning to get the total picture.
At this point, Noel has been officially branded into Théoden’s household. To celebrate his branding, Théoden has granted the brothers free reign for the night, which, of course, means lots of sex with each other. Noel still has thoughts of confusion over his new feelings of wanting and even desiring the sex, blood and killing of his new vampire nature, but the brothers continue to force him to face that reality head on. No question the sex is hot here. It’s dark and dirty and just a tiny bit kinky. These guys feed off of and even require it. It was nice to see some new dynamics that we haven’t yet been privy to, such as Bruce and Marco pairing up. However, while the scenes are always well written and highly erotic, I do get feelings of being ready to move on to the story.
Just about when those feelings are peaking, we move on to Théoden, who has been away for the evening, attending to a summons by his King. Things get interesting here. The King has called a meeting of the 5 Lords, all of which are sired by him. It would seem history had been somewhat repeating itself with Noel much in the same way Théoden became a part of King Ara’s brood. Anyhoo, we meet some of the other “brothers”, and after a bit of posturing and pleasantries, we finally get to the gist of the meeting. Things they are a changing, as King Ara has his sights set on taking over a new territory in Greece. New rules/tasks are put upon Théoden, the first of which is to acquire a rogue wolf/human hybrid and make him a part of Théoden’s House. All of the plans lead toward making King Ara and his reign stronger, but it will be interesting to see how smoothly things go.
I love seeing the little details about the various creatures. Théoden is half dragon, so he has very different qualities than his fellow full vampire brothers. We are shown a little more of his capabilities here, not relating to sex, which give further credence to his strength and power. I can’t wait to find out more or to see more of him in action now that things are being taken beyond the “bedroom.”
This continues to be an exciting, fast-paced and very interesting series. I’m really looking forward to becoming more immersed into this engaging world and hope Nicholas continues to expand on it more and more as the series progresses.

This book starts off right where the last Chained in Darkness book left off. Noel has just received his insignia and is officially a part of the family. This is short but hot, we get to see how Noel is adjusting to his new family and loving it but most of the story is from Theoden's point of view which is really fun to read. We get to meet Theoden's brothers and his Sire. It was fun to see Theoden have to submit to someone else for a change even if he did love every minute of it. You can tell that he has affection for his Sire. Theoden's Sire has called him and his brothers in for a meeting and things get interesting. I can't wait to see what happens next.

If there is one thing this author does better than most, it is shaking things up. I never know where the next book will lead, but I sure am going to be there to see. This series hooked me from page one of Embraced, and it is not letting go! This new season has duel POV's. This is awesome! Now we get to know what Theoden is thinking as well. Just an incredibly gritty, raunchy, sexy as all get out, fun time. I think I will never get enough of these vampires, they are so ruthless, yet endearing at the same time.
Noel has gotten his brand, and now the whole new life as a "brother" is beginning. And it is nothing like his previous time with the House. Now he is in the big leagues, and they have a celebration to show him. Don't worry, it isn't flowers and cake. No, these vampires celebrate the only way the House of Theoden does, and it is mind blowing!
Theoden has been called to the King's residence. Changes are coming for all his brothers, and as his Sire, King Ara is no pushover. But there are problems between the brothers, and the way the King deals with it will blow you away! There are going to be changes in leadership, and Theoden and his brothers just might not like it all. Seeing Theoden with his Sire is hot!

Nicholas Bella you so naughty man, this first book of New Season House of Theoden was amazing and easy for me to give it 5 stars I loved it. What an amazing talent...I remember messaging the writer saying how amazing I thought his book Embraced was, such a humble and simple response. He said I just right what I want to read. He may want to read it but damn, I’m sure he is finding out how many others has read and enjoyed his stories.
O.M.G. King Ara is to die for, just saying...sensory overload we already had the god like Lord Theoden, now we meet his drop dead (OK dead already) sexy Sire Ara. I was amazed my kindle didn’t melt. The scenes were detailed and hot, even the fight scenes were well written. Just goes to show you its not just quick smut. (smiles).
When court is called the Lord show after an especially hot “dinner” the King speaks of appointing a Prince of the City. Can you imagine the power struggle between arrogant undead? Not to mention something so human as jealousy rearing its oh so ugly head.
The three F’s and nope not saying it.. The King throws some changes in the mix and not everyone is happy about it. While our smexy Lord is attending his Kings call, his boys gets to know their newly branded brother better, Noel just may proof to be his Sires crowning glory. Amazing!! Loved it.. Recommend it ... I couldn't wait to bury my "fangs" in this book after the great finale of the first season when Noel finally took his branding. And like the books in the first season i wasn't disappointed and Nicholas Bella satisfied my hunger for more Theodén and Noel very well.
The whole story just got more interesting while written from the different point of views of Theodén himself and Noel, what i like a lot. It brings it all up to a higher level and is as promisisng as any hot and sexy story by Nicholas Bella can be. I like the new "political" aspects, where we learn more about the Vampire kingdom and it's king, handsome Ara, and the plans he has in mind for his House. It really shows that this vampires are up to so much more and we (hopefully) will read a lot more of them in the future, too.
And not to forget the "sexy and hot as f#ck" parts. With his dark and naughty writing Nicholas Bella always makes me squirm and biting my nails in awe and leaves me wanting for more. Like in this book: Marco and Bruce....no more words needed!

I never thought I'd like a series a dark as this one. But Nicholas Bella proved me wrong and I'm glad he has. The first six books of this series will take you by storm and leave you wanting more. Mr. Bella doesn't disappoint with the first book of season two.
Theoden is a sexy, demanding, brutal vampire/dragon hybrid. He is a master. We've met a some interesting people in the first season but now we are meeting the man that made Theoden himself, King Ara. That's one vampire I want to know more about.
It was great to hear the story from Theoden's point of view as well as Noel's. It was also good to see Theoden lay a little 'smack down'. We got a little taste of what the master vampire is made of.
If this what the first installment of season two has to offer I can't wait for the next installment!

Amazing. Heart stopping. I couldn't get enough of this book. Nicholas did it again. This book starts where our last book had left off. I think it is wonderful that we get to know Théoden a little better. We learn about his past and learn what his future has in store for him. Does he really accept his command by his sire? And Noel. He has been accepted by his brothers and they are celebrating in a way they only know how to. Sex. This is one of those books that you can't put down. It is a must read. I gave it five stars but I'd give it fifty stars if I could.
I think my heart almost stopped at the end because I wasn't ready for it to end. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Commanded is sinfully sexy, and adds more scrumptious characters to the already gorgeous cast. As a battle begins we meet the incredibly strong and sexually powerful Ara and his delicious group of warrior children. Theoden and Ara the King.... Oh my!!! These two are on fire. This series is wicked, rough and perfect.

Another great add to the New Haven series. First book with a duel point of view so we get to jump between Noel and Theoden that I really loved. Noel has finally taken his place with this brothers but what does that really mean? he's still struggling on what he can and can't do. Loved seeing him celebrate with his brothers which was hot and can definitely hint at to what more is to come. Theoden's family (his Sire and brothers) play a part in the world now, with future plans and more power for Theoden I can't wait to see what happens next.

Impossible to put down
This series is an in your face vampire and other supernatural story with a dark twist. The characters are brutal and don’t mince words or care to talk sweetly to their prey or others of their kind. A lot of m/m domination and cruelty. Definitely not a love story.

Sto seguendo questa serie da Ottobre e solo ora, arrivati al primo libro della seconda, mi sono decisa a recensire.
I primi e brevi episodi della CID series, e parlo solo dei primi 3, mi avevano colpito molto, come del resto i personaggi.
L'avviso che do: questa serie non fa per tutti, e ripeto, non fa per tutti. C'è della roba davvero perversa che non si vede neanche nei peggiori film porno gay in giro per il web, o in horror splatter.
Tutti gli episodi fino ad ora contenevano il 99,9% di sesso, il resto trama (troppo poco, non trovate?). Commanded, per fortuna, è composto dal 90% di sesso, ed il resto trama. Finalmente.
Ritroviamo Noel, da umano (etero) ribelle, a vampiro adoratore di .... (you know what i mean) nel giro di due settimane. Si strugge, continua a non voler accettare appieno la sua situazione ma dall'altra parte gode del suo nuovo status di mostro.
Poi ritroviamo Theoden, gran bel personaggio all'inizio, molto carismatico, sexy e crudele. Rispetto la decisione dell'autore di non volerlo cambiare, ma questo non significa che mi piaccia. Ora mi ritrovo a leggere di un personaggio estremamente arrogante, pomposo, narcisista e semplicemente antipatico. Non c'è un minimo di umanità, neanche un briciolo in nessuno di loro, tranne Noel. Non c'è dell'"angst" solo cattivi che trattano i buoni come sacche di sangue, vampiri che trascorrono le loro giornate a scopare (e mi fermo qui, ci sarebbero molti dettagli da condividere ma non lo farò) a uccidere, a sentenziare quanto loro siano superiori a tutto e tutti. Lo sopportavo nei primi 3, arrivati al sesto mi vien da dire: non se ne può più .__.
Facciamo la conoscenza di nuovi personaggi, i fratelli di Theoden, tutti più vecchi ma nessuno più forte di lui. Ovviamente, continuando sulla strada dell'originalità, Theoden è il preferito di Ara, il Re.
Quindi per il 40% del libro leggiamo di quanto Theoden sia: bello, figo, fantastico, eccezionale, il più forte, il pupillo, quello che ha il pene più grosso, il più virile e l'unico che può comandare sugli altri (che non sia Ara, of course), quello invidiato ecc ecc. Vi siete annoiati? Io si.
Ma, a credito dell'autore, c'è da dire sa come stuzzicare l'interesse del lettore. Questa volta ci è riuscito grazie all'entrata in scena di strategie (se così le vogliamo chiamare) fra vampiri che vogliono mettere le mani su un ibrido (lupo-umano) per accrescere il loro potere. Ara ordina, Theoden ubbidisce.
Sono anche molto curiosa di sapere quali saranno gli umani che Theoden dovrà trasformare contro il suo volere. La cosa più importante per lui, prima di decidere di trasformare, è la bellezza del soggetto.
Quindi, state tranquille, in questa serie di uomini brutti non ne vedrete. Non è fantastico?!
Per concludere: gli episodi sono sempre troppo brevi e il prezzo aumenta ad ogni nuova uscita. Considerato che ogni mese ci sono due libri, lo trovo un tantino esagerato.
I primi e brevi episodi della CID series, e parlo solo dei primi 3, mi avevano colpito molto, come del resto i personaggi.
L'avviso che do: questa serie non fa per tutti, e ripeto, non fa per tutti. C'è della roba davvero perversa che non si vede neanche nei peggiori film porno gay in giro per il web, o in horror splatter.
Tutti gli episodi fino ad ora contenevano il 99,9% di sesso, il resto trama (troppo poco, non trovate?). Commanded, per fortuna, è composto dal 90% di sesso, ed il resto trama. Finalmente.
Ritroviamo Noel, da umano (etero) ribelle, a vampiro adoratore di .... (you know what i mean) nel giro di due settimane. Si strugge, continua a non voler accettare appieno la sua situazione ma dall'altra parte gode del suo nuovo status di mostro.
Poi ritroviamo Theoden, gran bel personaggio all'inizio, molto carismatico, sexy e crudele. Rispetto la decisione dell'autore di non volerlo cambiare, ma questo non significa che mi piaccia. Ora mi ritrovo a leggere di un personaggio estremamente arrogante, pomposo, narcisista e semplicemente antipatico. Non c'è un minimo di umanità, neanche un briciolo in nessuno di loro, tranne Noel. Non c'è dell'"angst" solo cattivi che trattano i buoni come sacche di sangue, vampiri che trascorrono le loro giornate a scopare (e mi fermo qui, ci sarebbero molti dettagli da condividere ma non lo farò) a uccidere, a sentenziare quanto loro siano superiori a tutto e tutti. Lo sopportavo nei primi 3, arrivati al sesto mi vien da dire: non se ne può più .__.
Facciamo la conoscenza di nuovi personaggi, i fratelli di Theoden, tutti più vecchi ma nessuno più forte di lui. Ovviamente, continuando sulla strada dell'originalità, Theoden è il preferito di Ara, il Re.
Quindi per il 40% del libro leggiamo di quanto Theoden sia: bello, figo, fantastico, eccezionale, il più forte, il pupillo, quello che ha il pene più grosso, il più virile e l'unico che può comandare sugli altri (che non sia Ara, of course), quello invidiato ecc ecc. Vi siete annoiati? Io si.
Ma, a credito dell'autore, c'è da dire sa come stuzzicare l'interesse del lettore. Questa volta ci è riuscito grazie all'entrata in scena di strategie (se così le vogliamo chiamare) fra vampiri che vogliono mettere le mani su un ibrido (lupo-umano) per accrescere il loro potere. Ara ordina, Theoden ubbidisce.
Sono anche molto curiosa di sapere quali saranno gli umani che Theoden dovrà trasformare contro il suo volere. La cosa più importante per lui, prima di decidere di trasformare, è la bellezza del soggetto.
Quindi, state tranquille, in questa serie di uomini brutti non ne vedrete. Non è fantastico?!
Per concludere: gli episodi sono sempre troppo brevi e il prezzo aumenta ad ogni nuova uscita. Considerato che ogni mese ci sono due libri, lo trovo un tantino esagerato.

Ok bare with me. I really struggled with the first season. Like I actually stopped reading 3 times. I love dark erotica, smut, D/S. I was recommended this series. Begged to give it another go. I really struggled to get past the rape and Degradation. It's not a romance. Think Vampire, Dragon, werewolf post apocalypse meets hard core porn. No boundaries, no consent. Season 1 was hard for me. Horrible.
I enjoyed this season so much more as there was consent! I guess that's the difference, you can explain alot away but if it's fantasy n reality. It can really change the yuck feeling. Having a scene of torture or flashback is sometimes confronting, but it adds to story. Definitely not the core erotica note of book. Or an entire book made up of back to back of non-consensual encounters it was just off putting.
So yeah, it made me sick. This season was completely the opposite, once they embraced the nature and consent was there. Boom. 1 star to 4.5 star.
So you have to go in knowing not a romance! Once your mind set changes and you approach it from a different angle it's actually great..

This picks up right where Season One left off—except we get our first Theoden POV chapters.
Noel is getting treated much, much better. And he loves it. Theoden has been summoned by King Ara, so he leaves the boys to celebrate Noel’s induction.
Theoden’s chapters are fascinating. We see the interactions between Theoden and his own brothers, and learn more about the politics that govern this interesting world.
Ara promotes Theoden to Prince of the City—to rule in Ara’s stead as he goes to Europe and attempts to conquer Queen Amara’s territory.
The action is still scorching hot. Ara and Theoden, Noel and his brothers…And when Nolan challenges Theoden, we get action of a different sort. Seeing Theoden’s true abilities, and the smackdown he inflicts upon Nolan, is striking.
Ara also tasks Theoden with tracking down and capturing another resistance leader—the half-human, half-werewolf, Dante. Theoden must embrace him and train him as one of his generals.
“He looked up at me with soulful blue eyes filled with lust and I knew I had him. He was mine, and would be forever.”

Season two finds us with a brand new name. Chained in Darkness becomes House of Theoden. We also find out point of view no longer just Noel's. Theoden himself plays a bit part in the narration of this first episode of season two.
There's change coming to New Haven, and while Noel is basking in the pleasures of finally being officially one of Theoden's children, Theoden is having a meeting with his own sire, Ara, and his brothers. Ara has big things planned and while Theoden is on board with some of them... Some of the aren't sitting right with him.
There's still the same old torturous sex scenes in the start of season two as there were in season one, the reader will enjoy getting inside Theoden's head and learning a bit more about our dragon/vampire hybrid.
I found it pleasant to know that Noel isn't the only one with a dislike of a family member, seems Theoden is a bit tired of one of his own brothers as well, and the fight scene that follows is beautifully done.
I look forward to reading Ascension, episode 2 of season two.

Omg, better and better!
Loved Theodens POV! Such an exciting glimpse into his past too! The ending scene with King Ara had me fanning myself! Nicholas Bella does not hold back! Best scene was the fight between Nolan and Theoden. It left me breathless wondering how Theoden was gonna win cause honestly, I had no doubt Theoden WOULD win.
Also very glad to see Noel fitting in so nicely with his brothers. The boys play so nicely together. I love the imagery that Nicholas Bella is able to bring forth in his writing. On to the next! *muses* looks like I'm gonna be up for a while...

I'm really liking this serial. There's nothing offensive in this episode, unless you have issues with guys having sex, then you shouldn't be reading this in the first place. There weren't any lessons in this one, believe that's saved for the next book.
I really wish this was a full novel. This waiting for the next the next episode sucks, lol. I hope I get the chance to read the next one, I can't wait to see what else happens!

COMMANDED was the first book of Nicholas' that I have read. I have read M/M before, but none as explicit and erotic as this series and I loved them.
I loved the characters and how the brothers interact with each other.
The story throughout the series is extremely good and kept me glued to the pages.
I will definitely be reading season 1 CHAINED IN DARKNESS and I can't wait for the next season.

This is the first book of the second series. Noel's training continues, although he is slowly learning his place in his new world. As one of the "Brothers" with his new "brand" he still is low man on the totem pole, and he still has a ways to go. But this book focuses more on Théoden and his relationship with his sire the King. He has a new role to play and he does it well! Have I mentioned how hot the sex is in this book? No? well, I will just say... Scorching!!!
