It started with adorable rhyming poems as a kid for anniversary and birthday presents, moved onto monologues and short stories as a teen, then transitioned to fan fictions before she found the courage to publish a book.
DC lives in sunny and (mostly) warm Los Angeles with her husband and their two toddlers - a girl and boy that want to "work just like mama," often climbing in her lap and "writing" on her computer. She's very close with her entire family - extended included, and her sister is her muse.
When she's not working, writing, and spending time with the family, she loves watching mindless TV, tinkering with diy projects, and of course, reading.

DC Renee brings us full circle with her upcoming release Let Hate Go featuring Little Eddie, a child our couples took in as family in the previous two books within this series. Now, you do NOT have to read those books in order to follow along with Eddie. However, you would be missing out on two incredible stories of love despite circumstances that I found absolutely fascinating to read.
Little Eddie has grown up. He is now following in his mentor Mason's foot steps and is now a doctor at the local hospital. However, this doctor isn't always serious. He happens to be a huge flirt when it comes to a certain cop who gets under his skin.
Evie Drew is used to the pickup lines spouted her way. As a good looking woman cop, they are a dime a dozen. So when Eddie starts his routine he ruffles her feathers in such a way that he is hard to forget. Especially when he also saves her life more than once in a matter of days.
The last thing I ever expected DC Renee to throw into this group was a Cop. Having read the previous two books, I knew cops were any of the character's favorite things. However, Renee created a cop that despite the history, you can't help but fall hard for right along with Eddie.
Renee has proven once again, she can create a story worthy of your one click! Make sure you click this one!

The cop and the doctor. It was not love at first sight. When Eddie tries to flirt with Evie she puts him in his place. This is a slow burn romance. It was a quick read but just the right length to get to know and love the characters.
A book with love, dislike, tragedy and so much more. Eddie has some cheesy lines but is oh so romantic. Evie is a strong women but wants someone to see her as an equal. These two are great together. Eddie is a character from another DC Renee book and it was great to see his life. This is a standalone book.
And in true Ms. Renee fashion there is a twist at the end.

Loved it! Fast read with a cute story and lovable characters. I laughed out loud quite a few times, it was very entertaining. It was nice to see some of the characters that we came to know from the previous books and to see how they were doing. Definitely recommend!

Another twisty, fabulous book by this author. Have to wait until the end to figure it out but.....sigh....so great. I will say that Eddie is a typical dumb male for a bit but he more than makes up for it eventually." Evie is strong and womanly. Love her.

Loved it, loved it and loved it! You won't be disappointed if you read this. Love the doc and cop dynamic and an enemies to lovers is my fave type of read. Do yourself a favor and read it!
