Good Book

Very well written to be understood by both beginners and practicing techs ( especially automotive mechanics who want a better understanding of the use of multi meters for diagnostic purposes). It’s strength is the avoidance of “ high technical and academic stuff. For me an advanced practicing automotive engineer it offers ways to prepare a basic training course for beginners in practical automotive electrical repairs.

This was a great book to introduce my kids to the art of electronics

My boys started becoming interested in my multimeter and learning about electronics. This is a perfect book for introducing basic electronics concepts and testing methods. The explanations are accurate, but not overly technical. The book is well organized, and easy to read. They walk around the house testing every circuit they can. :) My girls have gotten caught up in the craze, too.

Excellent. Cannot praise this book highly enough

Already have a background in electrical/ electronic engineering but practical knowledge is rusty. This book was an excellent refresher for me. Explained in simple terms that just about anyone with basic knowledge can follow. Highly recommended.

Good read

For a guy like me who doesn’t know much about electricity, I found this book to be a nice little introductory to it. I purchased another edition & look forward to learning more.

I liked this book, good illustrations and explanations.

This book did a good job of breaking everything down into terms somebody new around a multimeter can understand. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to sharpen their skills with a multimeter.

easy to read.

Fair details. Good in trying to explain topics. Simple and common mistakes on day to day of electricians. With low volt jobs, only blow fuses, but with high volt only good electricians still on earth.

Simple, instructive

Better than any manual or electrical course that I have taken, does not require any advanced study and explains practical concepts well.

Pretty basic. In fact, very beginner. I probably could have leaned the same more quickly from a website.
