Also, I have been reading books since the age of six when my mother introduced me to books, making reading a daily ritual.

Writing is something I do to escape studies and I never thought my book will get published.
When not studying and writing, I watch movies late night and eat junk food.

Due to the mixed reviews that this book received, I was honestly scared to try Nerd of the Year. I did like the story, it was very unique for a werewolf book. However, it did have its downfalls (at least to me) because I just found it quite boring in most parts of the book. I also feel like the characters could have been written a little bit better too. Like with Easton, at first I liked him but I don't really see him as the "alpha" type since he makes no decisions or moves to prove that. For the alpha, one would think that he'd be the one people look to and that he would actually do something alpha-y...but no that did not happen. Then there's Nevaeh, ugh she annoyed me. I'm all about the independent woman who doesn't need a guy to define her...but she'd be bossy one moment but then have a child-like tantrum the next. It's very confusing and I don't really like that she's so flip-floppy. This book would've been way better if it was written wayyyyyy better.

I tried to read this book, I really did. Within the first 10% of the book (Kindle edition) I was wanting to put the book down, but I decided to keep going with it and see if it got any better. It did not. Aside from the typos, and the horrible grammar , the style of writing irritates the hell out of me. It's as if a 16, or maybe even a 13 year old wrote this. There are cuss words, but they come off as f*ck , and a-hole.

Stupid, possessive a-hole!

Really? Just leave them out if you're going to censor them. Every other sentence ends with an exclamation mark. The story follows a girl and a guy around a high school, he's a werewolf (I guess) and she doesn't know. He falls in love with her after many years of not so nice behaviour towards her, and as a result she 'hates' him. It goes on and on and around in circles until I finally gave up the book at chapter 11. I tried with this book, I really did.

Do they actually make a grape cake because I have never heard of it?

If he did not want to be with Melissa, fine, but why was he rubbing it on her face?

Sigh....
Again, I'm sorry. I just can't go on with this book.

I really wanted (and want) to rate this with one star, instead of two. However, didn't act upon my temptation due to the fact, I have as rule not you give one star except if something is really, really horrific. I was temped though...

First of all, I will say, it was impossible for me to read the whole book. I couldn't do it. I would waste my time, feeling bored with the shallow characters, cliche story-line, with the non-existed character development, and bad, bad writing style.



I don't know what happened to the books with personality. I might sound strict, but let me tell you: This book could be (and dear Lord, should be) improved. There was nothing appealing about it. I suppose people that find it so fascinating are immune to this writing style, I hope I was too.

I'm not interested in telling you the plot and anything more about it, you can check it out, you might like it a great deal, but I just can't. I'm sorry.

I read this book when it was on watt pad and let me tell you when I heard it was going to be published I was ecstatic.
This book just sucks you right in you cannot put it down. Neviah was so unlike most of the heroines in werewolf books she was her own person and never let Easton get the best of her. Now Easton at the beginning was a cocky little snot but he grew on you especially when Nev got done with him.
This story had a little bit for everyone and trust me it does not disappoint I cannot wait to read more from this amazing author.

Ugh, I don't know how to describe the issues with this book. Mostly the issue relate to the writing style. It was very immature but we're suppose to believe that Easton is an alpha. He does nothing and makes no choices through out the book. He mostly just spends his time laughing at his immature friends. Or when Nevaeh is being loud if and bossy and throwing tantrums. Also Nevaeh is always forgiving people but then 2 pages later is swearing to hate everybody again,quickly followed by forgiving everyone. I have whiplash. Don't recommend this book.

lamest review bc I cant come up with awesome metaphors and deep stuff but BEST BOOK EVER . SERIOUSLY . EPIC SHIT. I FAILED MY MATH TEST AND IT WAS WORTH IT BECAUSE I SPENT ALL MY TIME READING THIS . Awesome book I would totally recommend it for shifter-romance fans! It is a hilarious book and I couldn't stop reading once I started. I can assure you that I'm planning to read it again! Before I found this book I was looking for humor and werewolf genres and this book was just perfect. I love the way Supraja writes, she's amazing. Good Luck in the future!

Loved it !!!

I read a LOT and most are shifter books. It's my thing. I Love books with a sassy heroines and sexy shifters that make it work. It has a few errors and a little swearing but not enough that can't be overlooked if you are into the plot.I Love the fact that it was romantic and sexy and sensual at times without being dirty. I couldn't put it down!

Nerd of the year was highly enjoyable. It has drama it has romance, it has humor and you really connected with the characters. Neveah is a strong female lead who was witty and charming. Definitely a must read. Loved this book.

Needs to be edited

I read the story out of curiosity. It was a waste of time. The story jumps around alot leaving the reader guessing. There are many misspelled words as well as incomplete sentences. To me this seems like a very rough draft needs a lot of work.

Editor needs to be fired.

Alot of things were misspelled, I couldn't finish it. Most of the characters hated each other then all of a sudden they start hanging out together and that throws me off. Also there are way to many descriptive sentences, some things we just don't need to know. Just saying. Book was just going on and on and never got anywhere. Sorry but this book was not for me....

The book was okay, but not my favorite. I absolutely love Neveah, she was the only reason I was able to finish the book. There was really nothing that went on other than Easton's mom coming back from the "dead" after 8 or 10 years (I can't remember which one it was). The book would have been more enjoyable if there was a little more action in the plot. The character were awesome, but the plot line did not measure up to what I thought it would be like.

Hard to follow

The story seemed to jump around a lot and was hard to follow. Neveah was not a very likable character. I preferred Easton by far, even though he was supposedly "mean" to her at times. It didn't flow well and is in major need of editing. There is the heart of a good story here, but it needs a lot of polishing.

Never Judge a Book By Its Cover!

For 3 years I bypassed this book because the cover didn't appeal to me. I was so wrong and I deeply apologize to the author. This book was simply amazing and funny. I laughed so hard. The main character is a hoot. The storyline was really good and different. You must read this book. It will have you evaluating your own life while reading it. Great read!

Couldn't finish this - the dialogue is weirdly stilted and formal and the writing feels like a 13 year old trying to write like an 18 year old.

Easton doesn't feel like an alpha and Neveah is so inconsistent.
