Ugh.. I can’t say I enjoyed this one, but it is written well, and I finished it. I’m not going to spend a lot of time researching, but I think this may be a series; it didn’t pull up as one, but there are 2 separate subplots with her friends going on as well.

The book blurb lays the plot out, and I thought it sounded right up my alley. I love drama and angst... what I didn’t plan on was for this to take up the ENTIRE book. You know how when you’re reading these cheater books, and y

4 stars

While I was reading, I thought this was a solid 3-star read. It was hard to "watch" Laney plan the proposal of her husband to an OW. As I was processing what I would write in this review, I thought 4 stars were warranted because I was in suspense (and anxiety - as was Laney) - if Cam hadn't really lied as much as he did, if he was truly seeing Cara (OW), if he would propose to Cara while married to Laney, was Cara a stalker, etc. I eventually understood her need to see it, record it, etc.

2 ⭐⭐ - Meh!
The story dragged on too long and the confrontation with the cheater was lukewarm. I wanted to see explosions and fireworks, but it was without emotion. He and his bitch had no retribution or punishment.

I really enjoyed this book although I have to say I felt sorry for Laney almost the whole way through it. I have no idea how she had the strength of character that she showed, and I don't know many people who if in her position would do what she did.

For Laney along with best friends Millie and Tash run Perfect Proposals an agency to help set up incredible, romantic proposals to give loved ones a proposal to remember. Imagine the girls surprise when they had one of their rare female clients come

This one is chick lit, not romance

While it was an oddly mixture of fun and angst to read, I couldn’t get past the idea that Laney went through planning the proposal for OW and her own husband instead of confronting him.

She said that he was so good at lying that she wanted solid proof but there was so much adding up that the ‘proof’ felt more pathetic than anything. I wish that she confronted him a lot earlier on and then moved on with her life

4 stars。・:*:・゚★.

this trio group of friends had my whole heart. i came for the exposing-cheater-partner storyline and ended up staying for Laney, Millie and Tash's beautiful friendship. they were all so different to each other, but they fit together like pieces in a puzzle. even though this book was romance heavy, that and the main plotline itself was secondary to the joy i experienced following each of the girls' journey throughout the story. and unexpectedly, towards the end, it was strangely s

Shelves: very-good
This is my first by Shari Low (I set aside "One Day In December" only a couple of pages in because I wasn't feeling very Christmassy and began this one instead). Several of her books were on offer at £0.99 so I took a chance and am pleased that I scooped up a few, I am now a fan.

A lovely story about the friendship between a group of three women who, although different in temperament and outlook, are depicted as educated, articulate and sensible. My kind of characters, I loathe Barbie types.

This was 4.5 fabulous stars - this was a fantastic read. My only minor qualm was it focused too much on the Laney and Cameron saga (I know the synopsis reads that) and a bit less on the others (despite the multiple POVs) but I became equally involved with Millie and Tash's stories and somehow theirs left a little to be desired.

This book was a celebration of friendships - I really enjoyed the parts when it was just the three of them in their office (A proposal arrangement company, a typical book

It had it’s moments

Nice book. It just felt overly long, and there were moments when my attention wandered. Most of the end was predictable but there was one surprise for me. I won’t spoil it, it’s worth a casual read.

Three friends since forever run a business called Personal Proposals. They plan unusual and exceptional events that take place all over the world. Things are going well until a client hires them to plan a proposal to one of their husbands. Is it all a big misunderstanding, or a moment of truth?

It cannot be easy to come up with an original idea for a romantic comedy book but Shari Low does it every time!

The mere concept of an agency that sets up unusual settings (okay sometimes cheesy) for marriage proposals was a new one to me! To then have a customer come in intending to set up a proposal for your own husband - just brilliant!

The three main characters who run this agency, Tash, Laney and Millie are all likeable and in their own way and most of us can identify with traits of at least

This was another amazing and hilarious book by Shari Lowe. Living in the West of Scotland I love all the references to places I can identify there. I highly recommend this and all of Shari Lowe’s books.

This book centres on three best friends who run a wedding proposal business. Tash is allergic to relationships, she loves her life as it is and just wants no-strings attached sex. Millie is head over heels in love with her actor boyfriend who is waiting on his big break - will she ever get the ro

Another brilliant and unique story from Shari Low. The Moment of Truth is about 3 friends who work together running their own company, Personal Proposals.

The company organises lavish, romantic proposals for their clients and we get to witness several of these wacky experiences throughout the book.

However, one client comes in wanting to organise a proposal for her fiancé in New York and it turns out he has the same name as Laney’s husband 😲. As the story progresses the girls try to discover whe

Kindle unlimited. This was a quick read, I started and couldn’t put it down until I devoured it. I loved all the characters more than others, however I did feel some of the situations might have been over the top, but yet plausible. There are some sick narcissistic people out there, and some women will stop at nothing to get what they want, even if it’s not there’s for the taking. I was not let down by the ending, but I really would have liked more damage inflicted on Cara and Cam, I just didn’t ...more

I read through Kindle Unlimited. I have read several of her other books also. This one however I did not like the ending. I thought the cheating husband and his lying girlfriend should have had more drama than what happened. Also the other two women in the group should have had more focus. Especially Tash and why she feels the way she does about relationships. I will still check out her other ones and she does have a recurring thing in her books about other characters that she has written about ...more

Good story!!!!

A very riveting novel. I had a hard time putting it down even to go to bed. It did a good job keeping the reader guessing if the guy was really as sleazy as some things indicated. And, yup, he was.
Great ending with the surprise proposal for one of the three partners and the mild taming of another.

While reading the first three chapters I just couldn't get into it. There was no story....yet. Then after reading chapter 4, I went back to the beginning to read the first three chapters again, which were actually character building chapters. Once I got past this I enjoyed the story but the ending was no surprise. ...more

Moment of truth indeed

This is the third book I've read by this author, and I enjoyed it just as much as I did the other two. They are a few laugh-out-loud moments, and the friendship among the three friends was a bonus. Without giving away too much, revenge really is a dish best served cold. Loved it!

Fun and fast paced

Quick read but a few distractions that could probably be attributed to editing. There were random POV switches that didn't belong to main characters and took me out of story. Plot was good and everything resolved at the end.

What Is The Truth?

The truth takes more than a moment to discover . The characters and. the way their lives are interwoven really makes the book a pleasure to read. It is filled with humor but there are many touching moments. too.f

Waiting on the proposal

This was a good story. Great characters. Many funny moments. The characters were waiting for the proposal and so were you. Waiting and waiting. It would have gotten 5 stars if it were not so drug out.
