Deluxe Genuine Leather - Standard Print Edition This new English translation includes Genesis through Revelation. Restores the Name of our Creator to the Text in each place it occurs in Modern Hebrew letters. This new version in English is a literal translation. By Institute for Scripture Research, overseen by Dr. Chris Koster. The original Hebrew personal names of people and places are restored throughout the Scriptures, such as Mosheh (Moses), Yeshayahu (Isaiah), Sha'ul (Paul). Most importantly, the divine Name YaHuWaH what some call the tetragrammaton (YHWH), has been restored and left in Hebrew characters throughout the translation in the Tanakh (Torah, Nevi'im, Kethuvim) and also in the Messianic Scriptures. The name by which the Messiah was known has also been restored back into Hebrew characters as well. What's new in the 2009 edition? Improvements to the text - seeking a yet closer equivalent to the literal meaning of the original language. Quotations / Allusions from the Tanakh (O.T.) are in bold type in the Second Writings (N.T.), and are accompanied by the text references - aiding your understanding of the original contexts, and how they influence the writers drawing upon them. Hebrew names of Book Titles are now on right hand pages with corresponding traditional English names on the left hand pages - making it easier for you to find the place, and easier to learn the Hebrew titles. (Hebrew names are also used where possible for annual festival days, as well as being used, minimally, for ambiguous words). Removal of doctrinal comments from footnotes, explanatory notes etc., (including deletion of prophecy hairlines) in favour of more useful notes - thus clearing away obstacles to your unbiased study of Scripture. Maps, Timelines, Illustrations have been added.

For reference, I count this as 66 books added to my finished total between this & last year 😃 as that's the way I approached my goodreads goal. Enough about that, though:

WOWWWW. In the last year or two, I really understood what it means to be in a covenant of love with our Maker. And since that true understanding (beforehence completely lacking, and rooted in ignorance and lies of the demonic doctrines found in the churches I grew up in, and jezebel/witchcraft lens in my family), the Holy Spirit really guided me on revelation and understanding that I've never had before!!

All the sub-books I thought I would struggle with, not understand or enjoy, I RATHER ENJOYED THE MOST!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! The Holy Spirit lens is what makes all the difference, HE REALLY IS OUR HELPER!! Our Father LOVES and cares for us so well, and it's so clear how abundantly full of mercy He is, even in the "old" covenant.

Read the Bible through His lens, in the way He intended. Ask Him for revelation and understanding. Love & fear of Him is after all, the BEGINNING of all wisdom. Draw near to Him, and HE SHALL draw near to you. That's a promise! 🎯🔥

I love this translation, even though it doesn't have a poetical "sound" like the KJV does. It uses the real names, which is much more legitimate. Why on earth would any translator change a proper name?! I read lots of other translations, but this is the one that I turn to the most, and have it all marked up with notes and highlighting.

Replaced my KJV with this gift - adding in a few Hebrew words/names to enrich the reading experience/revelation.
