Unscripted is Book Two in the Unspoken Series. The story picks up where it ended in Unwritten, so it is highly recommended you read Unwritten, Book One, before diving into this one.

Brooke Anderson finally has everything she wanted: her dream job working at the Post, the love of her life and a baby on the way. Then the unexpected happens and life isn’t what she expected.

Rich Davis finally has the girl of his dreams who will soon be his wife, and a baby on the way. Life is pretty perfect until tragedy strikes.

Will Brooke be able to survive the string of events her life has become or will her happily ever after be lost forever?

Right from the start this book will have you on the edge of your seat. Warning: tissues are advised.

This is a rollercoaster of emotions, running the full gamut from tears to laughter, to frustrations, yelling at the characters to get their acts together. Bad words might be spoken too...

There is great support from the supporting characters that deserve stories of their own.

I could not put this book down and can’t wait to see what the author releases next.

First, MC, I am extremely sorry for all of the names I was calling you yesterday evening! I think I went thru three tissues. However, I kept reading and made it to "Next Day - Brooke". You may live! However, Aubrey may not!!
You go girl you have done it again!!! Thank you releasing the book a couple of days early. I bought it as soon as it went live! I could not put it down, and I finished it last night! By the way, I finished the book with tears as well. However, this time they were happy tears.

This is a story of love that is meant to be, Rich and Brooke. I do not want to go into any descriptions, however, if you love a GREAT romance story, READ THIS BOOK.
I loved this story so, so much. MC Decker did a phenomenal job writing this story. The emotional roller coaster cannot be described. Unscripted is the second book in the Unspoken series although it is this a standalone book, You really need to read the first unwritten to understand all of the intricacies in this book. I cannot wait to read more from MC Decker. MC, you are an extraordinary author! Thank you for writing.

Thank you for reading my review.

Well done!

Rich (at least for me) was the guy you wanted to dislike, but couldnt help but fall in love with. I'm not a big crier when it comes to reading, however M.C. Decker got me numerous times within this story.

Unscripted is the second book in M.C. Decker's Unspoken series and needs to be read after Unwritten. Unscripted is the continuation of Brooke and Rich's story, and I have been dying to get my hands on this one after that cliffy at the end of Unwritten! I love these characters so much, and I couldn't wait to see what would happen for them. Not only did M.C. Decker do a fabulous job with their story, but I felt like it was exactly as it should have been for these characters.

After years of being apart, Rich Davis and Brooke Anderson had finally reconnected. Not only did they have great jobs, but they had each other. But just when things appeared to be perfect, a tragedy stole their happy ending. Now they are left to pick up the pieces and see what happens after their perfect script has changed yet again. Can Brooke and Rich write a new happy ending together, or will it be too late for them to get their forever?

I love Rich and Brooke, and my heart was absolutely breaking for these two at the end of Unwritten and the beginning of Unscripted. These two had already been through so much, and yet it seemed like they were being dumped on yet again when neither of them deserved it. Rich and Brooke were absolutely perfect for one another, and I loved how well they fit together. They were each so passionate about their careers and each other. This book wasn't an easy journey, and there were several times that I really felt like things were beyond unfair for them. Yet the love between Brooke and Rich was never ending, and it was easy to see that love was never their problem. I loved that their feelings for one another never wavered no matter what they were going through. Sometimes we have to go through some rough times in order to get to where we need to, and that really seemed to be the case here. The chemistry between them was stronger than ever, and I had faith that these two would be able to find their way back to one another.

Overall, I really loved this book and the journey that these characters have been on for these two books. I feel emotionally connected to them, and I was invested in their story from the start. This book was beautifully written and brought out all the feels. M.C. Decker has a way of drawing you into her stories and captivating you right until the very last word. I loved Rich and Brooke, but I also really love the secondary characters as well. I am very intrigued with what is developing between Blake and Cassidy, and I cannot wait to get more of these characters. I honestly cannot recommend this series enough, and if you haven't read these books yet you are seriously missing out. M.C. Decker doesn't disappoint, and if you are looking for a great contemporary romance with emotion and depth you cannot go wrong with her books. I am looking forward to seeing what else she writes in the future and will be anxiously awaiting Unforeseen, the third book in her Unspoken series.

I have been waiting for what seems like forever for the follow up to M.C. Decker's debut novel Unwritten. Especially after that heart stopping cliffhanger. I actually let out a happy little squeak when she released Unscripted a few days early. You absolutely have to read the first book in the series before going into this one. While there is enough information provided for you to be able to follow along there are some intricacies of the plot that can't be understood without the first book.

Unscripted picks up a bit after the events at the end of Unwritten then travels back in time to fill in the missing gaps. The opening really pulled at my heart and had me gasping and shaking my head. The devastation and pain was palpable and my heart hurt right along with Brooke's. Thankfully, she had her best friend and the sister of her heart, Cass there to hold her hand. But Cass also gave her the kick in the pants she needed to get out of her own head at times too. In her confusion and pain she turns to someone unexpected, Jason. I was thinking to myself don't go there Brooke. But she did and it only drove home how much she loved, missed and needed Rich.

Rich, yes- mini spoiler alert- he is alive but not well. The shooting and other events that happened that day really got to him and he is not the same man Brooke fell so hard for. His downward spiral effected everyone around him. Even his best friend Blake couldn't get through to him. It took another tragedy to pull Rich from his stupor but what a turn around he made. Gone was the cold, abrasive lost man and in his place was the warm, caring and genuine man that I remembered. I was so happy to see the change in him and how he fought to win back Brooke's trust and heart. He pulled out a few big moves that had me swooning.

But in true M.C. Decker fashion, it wasn't smooth sailing for long. Aubrey, that royal piece of work is back with a new scheme up her sleeve. I love that it didn't tear them apart this time but managed to make Rich and Brooke stronger and bring them even closer together. It also put into motion another part the future that they wanted so desperately. I loved seeing this softer side of Rich and Brooke.

Overall, Unscripted was a well rounded conclusion to the tale that started with Unwritten. It was messy and beautiful all at once, just like life and love. Brooke and Rich fought hard for the happiness and future that they wanted with each other. They wrote their own story and it was a happily ever after that was perfectly them. M.C. Decker made me laugh, cry, fan myself, swoon and sigh. I sincerely hope that this isn't the last I see of them or Blake and Cass.

After the way things ended in Unwritten, I have been dying to get my hands on Unscripted. I needed answers. I had to know what would happen next! Unscripted did not let me down.

Unscripted picks up right where Unwritten left off and answers all your questions. Brooke and Rich’s journey is an incredible, but difficult one. They are both dealing with some very complicated issues. My heart ached for both of them. Their loss, their pain so palpable. I felt as though I was experiencing their story, their emotions as if they were my very own.

I’m not going to go into a lot of details. I’d like to keep this book as spoiler free as possible, so I will leave you with this: Unscripted is amazing. Brooke and Rich’s story is difficult, but beautiful. I was consumed by their story. Unwilling to put it down. I was obsessed. I had to know how things would turn out…and all I will say is that I was not disappointed.

Unscripted is an emotional and captivating read. There were so many times where I wasn’t sure if I wanted to smile or if I was going to cry. I may have had tissues next to me, just in case. I loved Rich and Brooke’s journey. I laughed. I swooned. I got frustrated. I loved the twists along the way. Ones that kept me guessing and crossing my fingers about the outcome. This may be the conclusion to Brooke and Rich’s story, but I hope this won’t be the last that we ever see of them. I’m really looking forward to seeing where M.C. Decker will take us next!

Woot woot it's time!! This is a hot and spicy book that will leave you breathless one minute and bawling happy tears the next. You may also have other tears mixed into this story as well. Keep the fans and Kleenex handy, maybe the wine too.
Cass is stellar on all her hilarious lines and names in this story.

I can't spoil it so I will end here. I am so proud of this story and am sad but bittersweet to see the end of this with Brooke and Rich.

Brooke and Rich 😍😍

College was their beginning and it was just never meant to be.
With a second chance and waiting for years will it be the time for them ??

Rich has waited years for her and now she’s finally here..
Brooke had no idea who her boss would be..

I loved that this was their second chance. Rich kept his word from college to give her a job which I loved 😍 so romantic. Brooke needed a chance and was ready to follow her dreams.

Who knew her dreams would help her follow her heart too..

The love story that took time

The story was definitely drawn out more than I would have liked, but it was done beautifully and not forced at all. I'm impressed with how the story turned out and the ending definitely caught me off guard in a good way. Now I can only hope for the other potential story that came from this book!

Best ending ever. Gah what a great book this was. After the cliffie in the first book I didn’t think I’d ever recover. But alas it was beautiful. Brooke and (see I can’t even say who without ruining this book) well you’re gonna have to trust me on this and read the series.

You need tissue!

OMG! I knew it'd be a tough rough read, because of the ending in the first book. It was heart breaking! Jeez! Then it wasn't so sad, but then...more heart break. But it was so good and there are still laughs. It's a great story about love, loss and friendship.

I was a bit confused at first...was the whole Rich thing a dream? I'm still kinda confused, but all in all a good story. Will continue to read books by this author.

I tried really hard to give this a better review but I just can’t. The dialogue is so elementary and the back and forth during many scenes was just to long and to drawn out. Lots of skimming. Lots of timeline issues with pregnancies and dates.

MC Decker is not only an amazing writer but also one of the most down to earth author I've ever had to pleasure of conversing with! I can't wait to meet her and hug the crap out of her while she's signing her books for me at the Ever After Author Affair in a few weeks! I FLOVE Her!

I was so graciously given an ARC of Unscripted (the second book in her Unspoken Series) and couldn't put it down!

A bit of background from Unwritten (book one) to bring you up to speed…

Brooke met Rich in college. Rich was full of himself and had an ego the size of Texas, everything that was a turn off to Brooke. He gave Brooke no option other than to be friends despite her best attempts to leave that man alone.

Fast forward ten years.. after a series of very unfortunate events Brooke’s life has turned out drastically different than she had planned. Taking her life into her own hands she decides its time to follow her dreams and get what she wants no matter what it takes, she deserves to be happy after all! She applies for her dream job at the Washington Post as a reporter and once again fate takes Brooke’s plan out of her hands; she runs into (literally) Rich Davis, who just so happens to be her potential new boss.

To find out how the rest of Brooke and Rich’s story unfolds get Unwritten here: http://goo.gl/ZTtNQY

Unscripted picks up right where Unwritten leaves off, it was a seamless tradition from book to book (even though I read the books months apart I remembered clearly what happened). Thankfully the burning questions that I had at the end of book one were answered in the first few chapters.

Rich and Brooke’s story starts off rough, making me want to do some physical harm to Rich to make him pull his head out of his nether regions. This rocky start had Brooke moving back home to be near her best friend (Cass, who is an amazing (and funny as all get out) supporting character… and I’ve heard she **MIGHT** get her own book.. but don’t hold me to that) and father. It takes Rich quite sometime to get his act together and realize what a huge mistake he has made and needs to remedy it as soon as freakin' possible.

This story is about their healing and fixing of their broken relationship. It took me through a range of emotions (which I love), anger, hate, disgust (for Rich mostly), love, and I even shed a few tears towards the end. I will NOT tell you if it has a HEA (because Megan wouldn’t tell me while I was messaging her through the entire book) you will have to read it to find out if Rich and Brooke are able to fix all that went wrong or if they have to part ways and move on.

I give this book 5 stars! I waited quite some time for this book and it was worth every minute of the wait!

Congrats MC and I can’t wait to meet you and to read more of your books (so get writing)!-Katie

This was one book that I was dying to read after that HUGE cliffhanger from book one Unwritten. If you haven't read book one stop and one click it first.
At the end of Unwritten we finally see Brooke living her dream with her dream guy Rich and her dream job at The Post. Rich Davis is living the dream too. Engaged to the only woman he's ever loved. He may be her boss but that only makes life sweeter. Unfortunately I had to wait to read Unscripted as the situations and content hit too close to home. Once I did pick it up I couldn't put the book down.
We pick up right where Unwritten leaves off: Shots Fired
Their lives start spiraling and Brooke doesn't know what's going on, what to do or how to heal.
MC Decker straps you in this emotional roller coaster and the ride never stops. The emotions invoked in this story range from crying to laughter than rage. Hold on tight to your ereader as the urge to chuck it across the room is inevitable. The interaction and support of the characters is great and they provide some much needed comical relief when it is really needed or try to slap some sense into the main characters when they are going down a dangerous path. Needless to say the author shows us unconditional love and friendship that's real and very relatable.
The only thing I wish was that the story didn’t skip in time so quickly near the end. I thought some events were missing and it would have been great to see how they were experienced.
I’m looking forward to reading other books by this author. Big Hint for MC Decker.... Cass and Blake NEED their own story. With all the madness and mayhem going on you still get a feel for all the characters and their personalities. You can't help but fall in love with them.

M.C. I wanted to strangle you in the way you left us in the last book! In a good way!! If you have not read Unwritten stop right now and go read it! I have to say how you left us hanging with the last book I didn’t know what to think. I felt lost, broken, and like how can this happen! You can through but it was a struggle for Rich and Brooke from page one. My heart broke and I didn’t know if I would be able to finish. I kept through it and I am so glad I did! They both go through a lot and they don’t know how to manage the cards they are dealt with. Once both of them come to their senses! Thank God! I was so relieved they worked though their troubles and came back together. My heart was once whole again! When they face another obstacle they are doing it together this time not alone. They are both brave and pull through. I have to say that I couldn’t get through of some of those parts without Brooke friend Cassidy! She is a firecracker and I have a feeling that there is more to come from her. Brooke and Rich are made for each other and I am so glad they got their HEA! M.C. Great job with the book girl! Keep it up and I cannot wait for more to come!

Oh where to begin? When I read Unwritten I fell fast and hard in love with Rich Davis and Brooke Anderson. The end left me heartbroken and terrified of what their futures held and it was a long wait until I got my answers. During that time I read Unwritten several times, formed a friendship with the wonderful MC Decker and even had dreams of the characters from what became one of my all time favorite books. Although MC Decker just released her second book, Unscripted, I know her writing future is bright and I will without a doubt follow her closely, as long as she doesn't get a restraining order on me! (Inside joke!)
So, now that that part is done, my review of Unscripted. I will not give spoilers, if you want to know what happens hit the purchase button! I will tell you that you will laugh, you will cry (a lot), you will get so mad at times and will feel every other emotion you can imagine. Those few hours I spent reading were some of the best I've spent so it goes without saying that I highly recommend you read it.

This is the continuation of Brooke and Rich's story that started in Unwritten. We pick up right where Unwritten left off and Brooke and Rich's happily ever after is in trouble. MC Decker started out with a bang!! As if one tragedy isn't enough, she had to make two happen at once. Of course, that set a whole downward spiral in motion for our lovers. Without giving things away, let's just say I wanted to kick Rich in his bum and help him pull his head out of it too. So many unexpected events come about in Unscripted that leave you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.

We got see more of Brooke's best friend Cassidy, who's quirky ways leave you laughing and wanting more. I hope she gets her own book and HEA. She was an amazing side character and I would love to read more on her story.

So many unexpected twists and surprises made me not be able to put this book down. I love Brooke and Rich!! MC Decker did an amazing job on this series and I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

I'm going to try to make this review as spoiler free as possible! Unscripted picks up right where Unwritten left off. All the burning questions we wanted answered are and are answered in due time. That being said life throws curveballs at you and Brooke has faced many and has many more to face. It's how you handle life and those situations that make a person who they are. It makes Brooke one of THE strongest woke I know. She's kick ass and fierce and with her best friend Cassidy at her side there isn't anything Brooke can't face or handle. This review really doesn't do his story justice because I absolutely loved this story! But I don't want to give anything away at all! Does Brooke get her happy ending and true love? You'll have to read and find out. Trust me, you don't want to miss out!

I liked the way that Unscripted picked up with a brief recap of where the last book left me hanging. This book definitely started by sending me on a journey through a whole range of emotions. My heart was broken for Brooke and I kept wanting to shake some sense into Rich to make him see the light. And when the heartache continued with Blake and Alyssa, I really struggled to keep a dry eye. I was so happy when things started looking up and falling into place for Brooke and Rich. I still wanted more for them though, and I was eager to see if Decker would come through for them and make up for shattering my heart earlier in the book. ;) The road continued to be bumpy for Rich and Brooke, yet slowly things started to fall into place. I was very pleased with the ending and really enjoyed this story. Decker's books are always a delight for me to read.

Unscripted is book two in The Unspoken Series. It ca not be read as a standalone, you must read book one Unwritten first. Unwritten left us with a huge cliffhanger. I couldn't wait to read this one and see what happened.

It starts a little bit after Unwritten ended but we get flashes back that fill in the gaps and answered the questions that I had. The beginning pulled me right in. The beginning was tough to read, I was thinking this can't be happening to Brooke and Rich. Unscripted definitely starts out super emotional and my emotions continued on high alter throughout the story.

Brooke and Rich's story is full of up and down. It's a beautiful and wonderfully written story.

I've been waiting patiently for Unscripted since i have read Unwritten. I was so excited to finally read the conclusion of Rich & Brooke's story after that cliffhanger that made my heart stop.

Unscripted continues where the first book ended. I was holding my breath on every page wanting to know what will happen next. I love how their bestfriends as always behind them to support them and give them a slap when needed. Their journey was not an easy one but when did the journey of love ever easy?

I love how MC has written these books. Emotions are running high, you can't help but anticipate on the next chapters. I love how she ended Rich & Brooke's story. I'm hoping that this is not the last that we'll see of them. And i can't wait for Blake & Cass' story.

After the cliffhanger in “Unwritten”, I could not wait to read more about Brooke and Rich!

Well, MC Decker had me in tears within the first few pages but thankfully that was short-lived.

This book is filled with intensity and some heart-breaking moments! But the author managed to balance it with humour (we all need a best friend like Cass), romance and passion.

In “Unscripted”, Brooke and Rich have to deal with a tragedy that threatens to pull them apart.

They need to fight for their love like never before, and only a love like theirs could be strong enough to survive it.

I love Rich and Brooke…they are a couple simply meant to be.

I read this book in a day as I simply could not put it down and MC Decker has once again outdone herself.

FIVE STARS!

When I first started this one, my jaw dropped open and I gasp thinking "oh, no she did not really do this" which if you are a fan of Rich and Brooke is exactly what you will be doing too!

Such a great ending for Rich and Brooke! I am such a huge fan of Unwritten and this continuation does an amazing job of giving us the rest of their story. It is quite a rocky one! Their relationship mimics true life which is what I enjoy seeing in characters. They struggle just like we would in the real world with the things that life throws at us.

Ms. Decker did an amazing job pulling us through. If you loved Rich and Brooke in Unwritten then you must read this and finish out there story. It will break your heart, make you gasp, make you sweat and leave you with a smile!
