I was asked to read this short story by the author. I love dragons, actually have 3 dragon tattoos, so I was looking forward to reading this story. The author was able to describe scenarios without over doing it or being too vague like some authors do. He was able to keep my attention and I read the whole story! No skimming. Just because it was a short story doesn't matter, I've skimmed many a short story in the past.

After reading this story, something strange happened, this is a rare occurrence for me. So while I usually always have questions or comments regarding aspects of the story that don't add for me, in this case, I have 0.

I would definitely recommend this story and am eager to see what happens to Lillian and Ariel.

Lillian is a young girl who is now taking care of and protecting her younger brother from Armaros, the fallen angel that has used a dragon to take over and control the U.S. There are 7 fallen angels and 7 dragons that are connected to their host angels, they have taken over the world and a guardian is needed. one with the strength and ability to change what has already happened. Lillian literally falls into her place of destiny and now it is up to her to protect them all. A very short read, I am assuming Mr. Daniels will go into another book for this to have ended so abruptly. Some violence and gore recommended for ages 14 and up!
