I wish there was a rating higher than 5stars. This was incredible box set that I highly recommend. This is a definite reread for me. I love Sebastian so much!! He is my new BBF!! He has a heart of gold that was seen at the tender age of seventeen. He is loyal and very protective to his family especially those that he loves dearly like Mina and Talia. I love Talia!! She is a fighter and extremely head strong. I love she is very observant and catches everything. The chemistry between Sebastian and Talia is dynamite!! Very explosive!! The story in all the books have the same --love for each other. Sebastian always protecting Talia.
I would love to read more from this author. The words were like colorful images better than any movie. The words just had a fluent flow. I couldn't put the Kindle down if I wanted too.

Mr Black is like a drug. One that Talia is addicted to for life. But unlike most drugs, this is one that is ultimately good for her. Not a toxic relationship that I expected.
At first I thought Mr Black wanted Talia only for the mystery and catch but these two go way deeper than that. Their chemistry, their need for each other, is everything and more.
The author thankfully wraps up loose ends that I honestly thought they would be forgotten and left hanging.
This was a whirlwind suspense romance that was beyond enjoyable.

So glad I bought this as a Set!
I’m so thankful that I didn’t find this till all 3 books were out! This is one of those stories that you can’t put down. Took me a while at the beginning to keep all the characters straight, but trust me, it all fits together in different places! Great read! Love Sebastian and Tali’s’s story…and the heat is off the charts!

Meh.
Why can’t there be good, sexy romance without overbearing, arrogant male leads? Newsflash: not all women want to be conquered and dominated. There’s an opportunity for sophisticated romantic fiction - I look forward to recommendations.

This is a collection of P.T. Michelle's In The Shadows series, this bundle covers the entire storyline of two people who keep meeting each other throughout their lives. This bundle is in the order it needs to be read, Mister Black, Scarlett Red, and Blackest Red.
NOTE/ WARNING!!!
You must be 18+ to read this bundle. Its not something for those under 18 to read. This series has elements of BDSM and is 100x's better that that crap of 50 shades (Which makes me vomit, sorry 50 Shades' fans out there reading this!)
Mister Black
Our two main characters is Talia 'Scarlett Red' who's a reporter in search of the truth, and Sebastian 'Mr. Black' who first met Talia back when they were teens and helped her out. Fast forward some years later.... Taila is all grown up and in college, working for the schools newspaper. There's a new drug sweeping her campus, getting students hooked and addicted. One of the girls in her class has committed suicide and the dead girl's roommate Mina Blake, has taken a leave of absence over it. The reason for her leave from college isn't smelling right to Talia, so she tries what she can to get the truth. As luck would have it Talia's roommate Cass finds an 'in' to help Talia get to Mina. Via, a Masquerade Costume Party the Blake family is throwing. Invites ready, along with their costumes and masks then its off to the party for both the girls. Each with their own vendetta's. Unbeknownst to Talia, fate can be a fickle bitch in her own right by having her dark knight-in-shining-armor from her past is also at this party. What are the odds that these two can get together? You gotta read it to find out!

This book is set 3 years after the events from the first book, Mister Black. 3 years have passes since Talia has last seen Mr. Black. She's already graduated from college, and one would think things in her life is going wonderful. Sadly its not. Right after graduating from college, Talia is hired at the Tribune but gets shafted when one of the story she spent weeks working on takes a nosedive. At the request of her Aunt ( with Cass backing her Aunt up), Talia agrees to take a breather from her writing as an author and go to Martha's Vineyard for some R&R. Before she even gets ready to leave in the helicopter ride to take her there, she meets a man named Bash who's the pilot taking her there. Bash is built, charming but a royal pain in Talia's ass and highly judgmental. But hes no Mister Black to Talia who has been consuming Talia's thoughts nonstop for the past 3 years. Bash wants Talia since theres a deep connection that he feels and knows thats there. And is more than willing to show her, if only she'd let him. There's something happening to Talia's fans, and someone targeting redheads around the NY area and around the resort. Which brings in our boy and his security firm to help before the killings goes cold. Whoever this is now has Talia in his sight. Can Talia figure out who it is thats behind what happened to her fans before she becomes next?
The 3rd book for the bundle is just more heart-pounding!

Is set 6 months after the events in Scarlett Red. Talia is busy with her upcoming tour for her latest book, Blindsided. Problem is someone out there doesn't want the book released and has been sending threatening letters to get Talia to cancel it. With her publisher wanting to be on the safe side to ensure Talia's safety and the tour goes on without any hitches they hire BLACK security firm. Which bring Sebastian back into Talia's life. Talia has no say in the matter since the contract for her security has been signed on by her boss. But that doesn't mean she has to like it. The clock winds down for both Talia and Sebastian, with their pasts coming back to haunt them both. Can Sebastian keep Talia safe while trying to connect with her? Will Talia let him or drown in her sorrows from the past?
In all i give this 5 out 5 stars! If it was more I'd give it the highest rating as possible. This book bundle is a helluva lot better than the 50 Shades books (which makes me vomit cuz thats not what BDSM is about). And side note you must be 18+ to read this bundle. This is NOT the end for the series, its mearly the beginning. The next book is with Gold Shimmer. And this time it is with Cass/ Calder. Again that read has the same warnings as this one and you MUST have read the three books above before starting Gold Shimmer.

That is how the story starts off and oh boy does it fit!
Mister Black - Book One: A chance encounter that means the world to a young, troubled teen. Eight years later, another chance encounter between them that is HOT and FUN! For me, it was a GREAT read! Was short, but it is a novella so expected. Was a great tease to start off Talia and Sebastian's trilogy. Definitely left me hurrying to read the next book and see what happens next.
Scarlett Red - Book Two: I love that the author writes from both character's points of view in this book. Nothing against single point of view stories, but I always feel that I "get" both characters much better when the story is told from them both.
By the way, know how I said the first book was HOT and FUN? Yeah...this has that "in f***ing spades" to quote Sebastian! *Fans self* Wow! What a great job writing them Ms. Michelle. *Applauds*
What I really love about this book is that not only do questions get answered, but we learn more about both Talia and Sebastian. Plus you have a side mystery that's thrown into the mix. You might think it makes the story too busy, but Ms. Michelle has written it so well that it's not at all. Mystery, romance, drama, and character development in one book? What a combination!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!!! So much so that several parts I went back to re-read again...and no they weren't the HOT and FUN scenes no matter what you might think. This story leaves me hanging worse than the first one so I'm itching to continue and see how their story ends up.
Blackest Red - Book Three: One word...WOW!!! What a FABULOUS way to wrap up the series!!! When I thought it'd be done, it wasn't. Questions that I'd had were all cleared up. Plus, the story wasn't predictable. Ms. Michelle threw in some twists that I wasn't expecting. This book is everything I said about the other two and then some! I'm very sad to see Talia & Sebastian's story end, but the journey with them was amazing!
Now I'm off to read the next book in the series, "Gold Shimmer." I cannot wait to see how Cass and Calder's story begins! ^_^

Wowser, roll over Mr Grey - we have a new Alpha in town & he's called Mr Black
Bought this box set as a recommended new author & I have to say it didn't disappoint!! Right from the beginning the story & character roles pull you, wanting to know more about a very young Talia & kind hearted boy called Sebastian.
These 3 books take you on their journey, as they discover how to love, how to trust & feel freely.
Sebastian hides his scars & his soul away from the world. It takes him a long time to realise that the only rainbow he craves is Talia & what he wouldnt do for that woman. He's strong, protective, dominant & controlling. His obsession with her never wanes & gawd is his passion literally off the scale HAWT.. He oozes sex appeal that you cant help but get swept away with.
Talia, oh what a survivor she is.. And a fighter. She has loved Sebastian from the moment she laid eyes on him & that deep rooted love never dies. Her walls are high, she doesn't trust or give love freely. Her nature is to protect herself, which means not letting Sebastian in & exposing her heart.
The chemistry through all 3 books is excellent, with many laughs & lumpy throat moments along away. I'm so happy to have found another fabulous author!!

The heat that comes off the pages when Talia and Bash are together kept me quite warm for the hours it took me to read it (couldn't put it down, so it was a quick read). The only time I did take a break was so that I could 'cool down.'
While the heat kept me warm, it was the mystery and suspense that kept me glued to the story until it was finished. I also love the family aspect of this story. Both lead characters, Talia and Sebastian, come from less than ideal family situations, but somehow they find each other as youth and then, again, as adults, time and time again. Sebastian is always there when Talia needs him most. They seem to be the only people who can help the other heal, maybe because they can truly relate to what the other feels/fears.
If you enjoy stories with romance, intrigue, suspense, and well-developed characters, I HIGHLY recommend the In the Shadows series by P.T. Michelle.

In the Shadows series opens with Talia and Sebastian with the first three books they are both constantly thrown into each other's lives but hiding from secrets from each other almost prevents them from getting together. Then Cass and Calder take the lead in a few stories from Cass first hiding who she really was to get her and Talia into a party where she meets Calder thinking she was someone else. Then the stories continue introducing characters of the Blake family including Mina, Sebastian's half sister along with the other Blake family members along with Mina's childhood, the Black security team and Den, the British protector for the Blake's and eventually Talia. One of the best series I've ever read.

Wow! What a ride!!
I saw this book advertised on Facebook and snatched it up right away! Michelle has woven a tale full of action,adventure, intrigue, and hot and steamy romance!!! I can't brag enough about this awesomely written story...I fell in love with Talia and Sebastian! They are both beautifully written characters, fully strong, TREMENDOUSLY flawed, a.d extremely hard lovers!! I was sad to reach the end of their story, but so excited to see that Cass and Calder have their own stories as well!! This book series is a MUST READ!!!

I read the first 2 books in this series when they first came out and loved them however when, this was released including the 3rd book I read them all over again.
Loved the heat and chemistry between Talia & Bash and it was a series I just couldn't put down, a couple of late nights for sure.
I loved the fact that this couple were just meant to be as their path just kept crossing. This series had it all, romance, intrigue, suspense and chemistry. Definitely a series to read.

So Much Better Than 50 Shades of Grey!!!
P.T. Michelle's Shadows Box Set is much better than 50 Shades of Grey. I enjoyed reading about Sebastian and Talia. It is an amazing story of love, erotic romance heartbreak and survival. P.T. Michelle has became one of my favorite authors. I can't wait till I can read about Cass and Calder. I highly recommend this series to anyone who wants to get lost in a book!

This series is amazing! I hated reading growing up! And few years back I was going through depression. And decided to read a book for distraction. And now I cannot get enough. I can read a book in two days sometimes one. And it’s all because of this series. I’ve read it at least four times already the whole series. It’s how I relieve my stress and anxiety and Its all thanks to P.T. Michelle!❤️ So thank you and I’m so excited for your next release!❤️

Loved loved loved this set!!! I thought Sebastian & Talia's story was just wonderful. I really didn't know if I would like it when I started it b/c it kind of went back & forth telling their story from childhood to adulthood, but somehow I was pulled into it & loved every minute of it.

Excellent Love Story.
I fell in love with Talia and Sebastian from the beginning of this series. Sebastian is the perfect mix of dominance and sweetness. Talia is strong but giving. Their story is definitely epic. I recommend this series and can't wait to read the next book.

i liked it. i loved mr black. I like them together. at times it dragged so I was forced to skim pages. overall it was a fun read. I'm starting Cass story now.

I flew through this and have to admit, I loved it and wanted more. Luckily, the author left us at a point where it at least made sense....and wondering how Mr. Black is going to react when he returns.
After a fortuitous meeting at the lowest point of her life, Talia's decisions going forward lead her to a chance encounter with the same guy that had such a profound effect on her as a teenager. And Mr. Black is everything she imagined he would be over the years.
I gotta admit. This book was hot and had I met the sexy SEAL....hmmm, I don't think I could have walked away. I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment. If you're a fan of military types and love romances with a bit of suspense, then you'll like this.

After a long while, and wow, was I surprised by how long, Sebastian sees Talia again, but she doesn't recognize him. Her aunt had sent her off to a singles retreat where Sebastian is working. Helping the police on a case, he knows that T is his Scarlett, and sets out to protect her while also trying to reignite their relationship. However, although attracted to "Bash", she has no intention of getting involved with him because he reminds her so much of Sebastian. Of course that doesn't stop him.
These two cannot catch a break. A serial killer is on the loose, and Talia is a perfect match to his victims. While Bash is trying to solve a case and nab the one woman he could not forget, Talia is struggling with her emotions and unaware their is someone stalking red heads just like her. And just when you think these two finally connect, some misunderstanding will come between them again. They both want the same things, they just cannot seem to communicate what each wants clearly enough to avoid all of the confusion that ensues.
I love Sebastian. He knows what he wants and he fights for it, even when he puts his foot in his mouth without meaning to. I wish Talia would just stop running! Of the two, she drives me crazy. Instead of just being honest with him, she makes him do all of the work. That doesn't mean I'm not rooting for them to get together, it just means I have to wait for the next book to see that happen.
This series is definitely for a more mature audience, but if you love romance with some hot sex scenes, then this is one for you.

I would definitely love to see Sebastian's sister meet her match because if it wasn't for her, these two would probably still have issues meeting midway. Talia is still wanting more than Sebastian thinks he isn't capable of giving, but like all things, sometimes a little time apart bring clarity. Either way, Mr. Black isn't ready to give up on his Red, and these two are still hot as hell together.
There were times throughout where I just wished each would open up and be completely honest, and it is close to the end before they get there. She knows what she wants, he knows what he can't live without, but neither is totally clear which leads to a lot of intense moments, yet keeps them apart too. I like that we get closure on what happened to his mom, what transpired in Talia's past and her aunt's disclosures, and that I was right in guessing who the stalker was!
I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
