Not worth the reading. There are better books out there to learn about Project Management. Skip this one. The book clearly demonstrates that the writer has written it in a biased manner.
In this book, programmers are portrayed as construction workers, where it is just easy to fire one and get a new replacement in no time. Everyone in the business hierarchy, from business owners, stakeholders, to program manager and programmers are bashed and talked about in a negative sense except the role of "project manager".
It is a good book if you as a software manager want to find ways to blame someone for mistakes during a software project rather than taking on responsibility and act as a leader.

A good review of overall Project Management how to steps that could be a good easily understood PMBOK supplement. The author has earned some great bruises and scars in leading Technical projects through the fog of war of business leaders interacting with tech resources to drive business innovation. From one who has been on the front line for 20 years now I can say Anna Murray was spot on her advice on how to survive and thrive leading technical projects. Great read for the IT Leader, Project Manager, Program Manager, or Business Leader.
