Disappointing. I don't understand the purpose of this book; unless a resume for Jimmy Diresta. I can read a cookbook like others read novels, but 'Workshop Mastery' didn't offer anything to me. I appreciate his personal skills, which I've seen on YouTube, but this book didn't add any value to my knowledge or experience.

I had high expectations for this book, after having watched a number of Jimmy DiResta's Youtube videos. Being a bit of a maker my self I was hopping to learn something new. No. I didn't learn a damn thing. The book was just a written explanation of his more popular videos.

Some other reviewers seem upset that these projects came from his videos, but since usually there's little to no voiceover in Mr. Diresta's videos, you learn a bit more about his processes and techniques.

His Youtube channel is great. This book isn't a manual, isn't overly inspiring, and the photos are underwhelming, and possibly screen shots from the videos.
