I regret being distracted while reading this book. I couldn't take the words in properly and enjoy the beautiful descriptions. It's the first book by Mustansar Hussain Tarar I've read, I thought he only wrote travelogues. This is somewhat true in this case as well. He paints a striking picture of Paris and the fact that the story is written around it is obvious. I didn't invest too much in the story itself, it was over far too quickly and the connection between Pascal and Sannan seemed tenuous from the start. Jenny or Genie was a character I felt had no bearing on the story, she was an absolute filler and an annoying one at that.
