This "troubleshooting guide" begins with a thorough table of contents listing lots of great advice for student writers. It also includes an index making it easy to get to all the valuable suggestions, lists and examples. I've taught many beginning writing classes at the college level and I've found this book to be among the best. I just recently used this in a college freshman writing class and I found it to be a great reference. The only thing that might help to make it more readable is to add more color and/or graphics.
