The three angles of a triangle always add up to 180 degrees.Well i now know how to draw a triangle that exceeds 180 degrees.I know i need to get out more. But seriously this is a very interesting book.

I used to think I had a wide range of reading interests but I have lately realised that many of them are in some way Lovecraftian. The actual experience of reading this book is maybe more Borges than Lovecraft, but that seems like a minor quibble.

I can do no better than to quote from the New Scientist's review on the back of the paperback: "Each [entry] undermines your confidence in your understanding of the world a little bit more. And if you fail to dodge some of the mindbendig slugs, you may end up mindbroke .... this collection of oddities is so odd it verges on greatness." Quite.
