Rhody is coming to Alaska for Christmas. Will Brendan get his Christmas wish?
After an earthquake that rocked Alaska brought them together, Rhody and Brendan are still going strong months later. With Christmas right around the corner, at least one of them has plans to make what they have permanent. There really isn't a single reason why it can't - well, except for Brendan's little secret...
Nothing says Merry Christmas like bears, wolves, and mistletoe.

3.5 Stars Once again, we have Rhody taking a trip to Alaska from his home in Spokane, but this time, he’s going to Anchorage to see Brendan at his home. He’s really happy to see Brendan, and Brendan is very happy to see him. They’ve missed each other and are quick to make each other aware of the desire they feel when they are together.
The story is told from alternating POVs, so we know what both Rhody and Brendan are thinking, which is especially helpful in this case because Brendan has a big secret that he has to share with Rhody if they are going to move this relationship forward. Brendan’s very nervous about exactly how he’s going to break it to Rhody that he’s not just a “bear” in one sense, but that he’s also a black bear shifter.
When Brendan finally works up the courage to tell Rhody, things don’t go exactly as he’d planned. Rhody doesn’t really believe him, and there are a few tense moments—with some potential danger that is luckily thwarted—and Rhody has the opportunity to adjust to his new circumstances. No spoilers, but the rest of the story is very sweet and fun to read as Rhody and Brendan come to an understanding.
I really liked this extension of this couple’s story. We get to know Brendan’s parents more, and also get to see Rhody and Brendan as they realize that they truly love each other and belong together. This is a really enjoyable holiday story with a touching happy ending.
