One of the best books of software testing I have read so far. Very clearly and very crispily written. This book has been very helpful in helping me understand the concepts such as test plan, Metrics and other topics. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to gain core understanding of software testing

Software testing is used to verify that software products meet customer expectations. Defect free. This refers to the execution of software / system parts using manual or automatic tools to evaluate one or several properties. Software testing is used to find gaps and errors in requirements.

Don't think I'll finish this one. Pretty disappointed that the pages began to fall out. I bought this book new from Amazon. The authors have a fair amount of good content (from what I've read so far), but there are areas where the examples aren't really relevant. And the grammar isn't so hot which leads to some confusing sentences (don't have it with me to cite).
