Ryukyu Kobujutsu : Bo - Tanbo - Toifa

Rate this book
Ryukyu island was invaded by Japanese Samurai clans, who declared A weapon's ban on the island's inhabitants. The only instruments available to Okinawan citizens were farming, fishing, riding and household tools (weaponized), forged into defensive objects, to protect their family against swords and other edged weapons. The Ryukyu aboriginal weapons evolved alongside 'empty-hand'(Toudi - Kenpo - Kara-te ) techniques and have survived as viable fighting methods to this day
