Another cute story for the small folk with Australian animals, lovely illustrations and a wee moral at the end.

Delightful story of two young Ringtail Possums as they explore their environment for the first time. Being nocturnal, they meet others also active at night and some just trying to get some sleep! Beautifully literate text with vivid descriptions and figurative language that evoke many sights and sounds of the unique Australian bush. It's always good to find books that feature a range of less well known birds and animals such as curlews, plovers, bandicoots.
