3.5 subdued beloved psycho stars
Forget the World with Me

Daniel & Hayley are back in the final installment of their whirlwind love affair and this time what fate has in store for them may be too much for their love to handle.
since the tsunami that is my Daniel has barged into my life, I’ve been both Danielized, and to a degree, let’s call a spade a spade, stupefied.

Daniel has yet to let Hayley all the way in, he is still trying to find a way how without loosing her. Both trusting in their love yet scared of the unknown. But there is only one way they will make it out together....

Outer Core was a tale where secrets are exposed, emotions are laid bare and where happily ever afters are tested. Poor Daniel still trying to control every minute detail of everything and everyone, nearly lost him all he held dear. Hayley, her train of thought was one that made me scratch my head, her commitment issues was one thing but to agree to the other dynamic was a little much.

I felt like the one who kept the book moving along was Ian, he kept it light and fresh with his little one liners. I love HEA's especially when couples had a to travel a road like Daniel and Hayley had. It was bitter sweet to see it end but happy they get to live in their own sense of peace.

What could be better than an extended epilogue of an addictive story with one of your favorite couples? An entire book’s worth of sweet, fun and hot romance. And whoever said be careful what you wish for was flat out wrong with this one. I wanted more of the domineering millionaire and his beloved quirky fiancée and I certainly got it!
“Love is a weak word to express how I feel about you, Hales..”

Hayley is a romance convert, that is to say she no longer doubts that true, enduring love exists because she’s living it. She embraced it fully when she accepted to be Daniel’s fiancée even if she’s not sure when that’ll happen because even if their relationship has strengthened, insecurities are sometimes really hard to get rid of.

Daniel Stark can’t wait to have Hayley completely and absolutely. But while he waits somewhat patiently, old missteps come to the fore and life throws them curveballs while their friends grow and go after their own goals. Can Daniel and Hayley find their way through the challenges they’re presented with? Will their bond persevere?
“Hales, I love you so much, it aches. I never want this pain to go away. Nothing feels this incredible.”

I had been wanting and waiting for this book for a long time. I met Daniel and Hayley a while back and got hooked on their story and fell in love with their characters. They did find their happiness together at the end of Inner Core, but getting the opportunity see them grow stronger together while going through life’s ups and downs a long with their BFF’s, Tasha and Ian, was like getting the wonderful chance to reconnect with beloved old friends.
“When I finish recounting the night of my theatrical grand gesture tale, Tweedledum and Tweedledee are on the verge of hysterics.”

While in the previous books, Daniel had an appealing Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, mercurial personality, I really like the fact that he’s somewhat settled in his role as adoring boyfriend. There were many sweet and tender moments that made me swoon as well as others that were burning hot.

Even if she still has some uncertainties, Hayley is still as sassy and feisty as ever but has also matured in a way that she brings stability to her relationship with Daniel. Although they still have a hard road to travel in the communication area.

Ian and Tasha add a wonderful layer of humor and friendship. I loved how they all helped each other adapt through each of their endeavors. But I think Ian stole the funny friend award with his hilarious drama.
“Daniel Stark, did you just ask me out? O . . . M . . . G, I just died all dies!” ~ Ian

After reading Layers and Inner Core, I read all the books by this author I could get my hands on. Her writing style is attractive, fast paced and full of unabashed sentimentality with just the right amount of wit and drama. Reading Outer Core made me want to re-read the entire series all over again.
“Hales, I swear, you’re my everything. Love doesn’t even begin to describe what I feel for you.”

Outer Core is book #3 in the Stark trilogy by Sigal Ehrlich. It’s funny, romantic and delectably sexy A wonderful extension to the series. This is not a standalone book and should be read in order. Told from both points of view with an even better, funnier, happier ending than before.
“We’re so romantic; someone should turn our story into a book.”

Outer Core was a very pleasant surprise to the addictive story of the enigmatic Daniel Stark and the quirky Hayley Grace, a captivating end to the masterpiece called Stark Trilogy.

OhMiGosh!! I couldn’t even describe how excited I was when I heard there was going to be another book to the Stark series. I literally jumped up & down and then pinched myself to check if I was dreaming. Even if Inner Core had an HEA, I can never have enough of these beautiful characters and their story.

Blurb:
When Hayley makes a resolution to wear Daniel’s ring and embrace everything it stands for, to declare her insecurities and doubts R.I.P, it’s all good in theory..

This is until the winds of change shift, shift and swift by, bringing along past mistakes, & new revelations which threaten the balance of their relation. Changes, that neither Daniel nor Hayley could have anticipated or prepared for.

Will the strong foundation of their relationship be resilient enough to get them through the upcoming storm?

“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”

The story continues months after Daniel has proposed to Hayley and she is postponing the talk that’ll lead to confessing her insecurities related to why she’s unwilling to set a date.

They have both developed in their relationship and have overcome their past mistakes. Daniel seems to have, for a better word, domesticated, and it was fun watching him like that. Although Mr. Hyde was never far behind..

description

Hayley has every wish to move forward with Daniel but tying the knot is not she sees in the near future and what better way to plan future than having ‘mommy- belly!’

description

Ian is Ian! He is charming , funny, dramatic self.

“Daniel Stark, did you just ask me out?”
“O . . . M . . . G, I just died all dies!”

Then there is the beautiful Tasha.
Trouble & Mischief is always near when these three gather..

But..

description

One can never be prepared enough for the changes that occur in one’s life and he/ she has to gradually make their way through or adjust to them.

And boy does it? Not just Hayley and Daniel have to face the storm that is about to occur but Hayley has to adjust to the changes occurring in Ian & Tasha’s life.

Where Daniel is the perfect Book Boyfriend material, Ian & Tasha felt like my own best buddies; partners in crime. Never did they feel like a character in a book. They felt all too real..

I loved Layers from the first page and then fell a little more in love with everything as the story continued in Inner Core. I love these characters to bits and ”I missed them something fierce.”

Outer Core was fast paced so I obviously completed it in one sitting.
It was an ‘all-smiles’ book with wicked humor; witty comebacks; sugar sweet, sweet talk that I couldn't help but have a smile on my face until the very end. There were moments when I can’t help but be sad but everything works out just fine..

This was an excellent addition to the series. Half of the time I was giddy and beyond myself.
Ahh..the writing is amazing and strong. I couldn't help but get sucked in. Nothing is overly done and it just felt perfect.

description

Since it’s Daniel it was bound to be Hot, sweet, steamy and sensual but Dirty it was not!

I highly recommend it to everyone who loves sweet, silly romance..

I cannot sufficiently express how much I missed the group of characters found in this series. I was drawn back in to their world of crazy within the first page! Ian is ALWAYS good for a laugh and he's proven it once again in this book.

Daniel and Hayley are still on the road to their HEA. However, Hales keeps putting off actually picking a wedding date. Thankfully, this was the only point of frustration for me.

There was some light drama from a past mistake, a health scare for a loved one, and a whole lot of planning for the future of their relationship. However, one fact remained true through it all. Daniel and Hayley were each others forever and nothing and NO ONE would ever tear them apart.

There were a lot of laughs (a lot) and the story gave wonderful closure to the series. I'm glad Daniel, in the end, finally got everything he wanted and deserved.

For those who loved this series as much as I did, the author mentioned in her acknowledgements that she's thinking of writing books on Ian and Natasha. So keep an eye out for that.

Enjoy! xo

It's been a pretty mega-long while since we've been with Hayley & Daniel...
I still remember most of it - but not everything - I'm too Bookalzheimerish for that ☺

Hayley & Daniel have been engaged for a while now, and Daniel wants to finally set a date and get the eff married....but his fiancée is stalling. No idea why she's so scared of getting married. It's not that she's scared of a happy-family-with-kids kind of future with Daniel...but getting married? Maybe not just yet.

The non-wedding is of course not the only problem facing our darlings in this book.
There's also something from Daniel's past coming back to haunt us.

And Hayley's buddy Ian has his problems with his sudden Hollywood career, and Hayley's other bestie is also not all that happy in her private life...

Things could and should be better for all of them...

What will happen to Hayley & Daniel?
Will there ever be a wedding???
Will there be a horrible Cliffhanger?

Nope - I'm not telling you ☺

Five Stars

Having Daniel and Haley back in my life was just the ticket and left me grinning from ear to ear. If you've read any of KFF’s reviews, you’ll know by now that we’re absolute suckers for banter. In a series which we loved from the very beginning, this unexpected prolonged epilogue overflows with it and is nothing less than the bee’s knees. Innuendos, dry sense of humour, laugh out loud moments and a good dose of angst in exactly the right places is what makes this book a must read. And one couldn't possibly argue that Ms Ehrlich’s unique style of writing, her play with words and sentence fluency is addictive. So much so that I’d be inclined to advice readers not to pick it up last thing at night as it’ll most probably cause sleep deficit. Read in one sitting, well… laying down, I have not one complaint. Of course, the cherry on top was more of Daniel!

“Just so you know, your little attempt at diversion didn’t work. We’ll talk later.”

He’s still the bossy and controlling CEO but at the same time, he’s mellowed like good wine. Attentive, loving and protective as always, I found him even more gorgeous this time round. Now there’s a reason for this because he wants to make a decent woman of Haley. Hmm…she’s in no hurry and suggests putting the cart before the horse. Why she kept on stalling I thought a tad peculiar but then again, Haley’s insecurities and trust issues regarding a past complication comes back to bite them both where it hurts and needs to be resolved. This did make me wonder whether or not she’d take the plunge; become his future bride and get to the alter on time. I was also concerned as to how Daniel would go about coming to terms with what had happened. I shouldn't have been though. All said and done, this is Stark at his very best.

“Give me something. Prove me wrong, Hales. Show me that you feel the same way. That we’re heading in the same direction.”

As per usual, the author’s character development is off the charts and shines brightly in this couple’s quirky friends’ traits. Meeting up with Ian and Tasha was an added plus and their friendship, as strong as ever, sees them all pull together even more. Setbacks in Haley’s besties’ private lives there are and I asked myself, ‘does it need to stop here, Ms Ehrlich!’

“We weren’t born yesterday, gorgeous. We know full well that distance does make the heart grow adulterer-ier.”

Not only has Ms Ehrlich gone to town with downright graphic scorching hot sexy scenes, but the one in the garage, ooh my, thinking about it makes me want to fan myself! Sublimely perfect, you ma'am, delighted me with this special offering. I loved being the fly on the wall... observing how Daniel and Haley move solidly into the future. I have no words for Haley's thoughtful surprise pressie to the man who adores the soil she works on. Beautiful, touching and bringing tears to my eyes folks, this is it. Never a sad farewell, simply an elated goodbye. Bravo!

“We’re so romantic; someone should turn our story into a book.”

We all have our favorite story. Whether it's the storyline itself that draws us in or the characters and their ability to render us speechless by their beauty. And if you're lucky, sometimes the stories have a little bit of it all. These are the kinds of stories that we will never get enough of. The Stark series are just that. Daniel and Hayley's relationship is one of my favorites. From the moment I met them, there was just something about them that I completely fell in love with. Their dynamic, the love they have for each other, it's like no other. Everything we love about them we get more of in Outer Core. We deal with Daniel trying to fight Hayley and her stubbornness with planning the wedding. We get more of her infectious friends, Tasha and Ian. And let's not forget a good dose of drama. It wouldn't be a Stark novel without it. Everything about this story was perfect. We get enough to wet our palette and keep us satisfied. I couldn't be happier with the way things played out. I even got to relive a bit of my own story through this one. Certain events had me thinking back on times past in my life that are still some of the happiest for me. I'm itching to start all over again with Layers so that I can experience all of the books together!

The last part of the saga, I loved the kind of backward ending. The story ends at the beginning and takes us back, to explain how and why happens. It kind of spoils the omg moment, but it's actually pretty brilliant!
I loved this trilogy, it's very well written, the relationship between Hayley and Daniel and the BFF' s ( Ian especially) is very deep and complicated but so deep and real and throughout the books perfectly developed. I believe I will most definitely re-read this trilogy again!

I had to read book 1 and 2 to remember what this book was about. While I enjoyed book 1 and 2 years ago, I felt this series was so juvenile. I’ve realized how much I’ve matured and what I want out of a book and this is not it. Granted, this book came out where it was the norm to have miscommunications or lack thereof, so I can't really complain..... right? What bugged me the most with this series as a whole was the lack of communication between the characters. I felt Daniel and Hales miscommunicate so they can have a reason to be mad at each other. The fact that Daniel felt the need to hide a potential pregnancy and his mother's sickness was a slap in the face. How can one claim to be deeply in love, but not share important details in their life? Again, this book was written around where the miscommunication was the norm, so I'll say that I enjoyed it for what it was. I was in a book slumped and this was a decent book to pass some time.

Love This Trilogy

Adored the Stark trilogy, from the moment I picked up the first stark book I was transfixed by this tale.. I was with Hales/H and her psycho D/Daniel from the beginning and through all the ups and downs was silently willing them on from the sidelines, This series captured my imagination and my heart, I also seriously fell for the besties Ian and Trish loved that pair of goons. this was a lovely heartwarming series that I enjoyed immensely.

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review for Book Enthusiast Promotions.

Guess what readers? They're baaaack! Like most readers, I fell in love with Daniel and Hayley in the first two books of this series and getting to read more about them in a third book? Well that was just the icing on the cake.

This book covers the two year gap between Daniel proposing and the HEA. Yes, it has been a while since the proposal, and Hayley is still dragging her feet. Does she think Daniel is "the one"? Heck yes! She knows it in every fiber of her being. Her problem is facing her insecurities. With that said, it is amazing how far their relationship has come, but their struggles are far from over. Daniel's past is once again brought to the forefront of their lives, and he has to learn that sometimes his actions do have consequences. When new information is announced you have to wonder if their relationship will last.

I really enjoyed reading more about Daniel and Hayley along with her crazy friends Tasha and Ian. Those three were downright hilarious when they got together. They reminded of the actors that premiered on the old show Three's Company. If you have not read the first two books in the series, Layers and Inner Core, you need to read those before this one .This a really great series that you won't want to miss out on! Kudos to Sigal Ehrlich for creating such an amazing series!

Love that the author gives us more

For those that have read the first two books in the Stark series, I am sure you love Daniel. Once you get past Haley's behavior in the second book, you were probably thrilled to have their HEA. Well bless Ehrlich for giving us the more we often want with our favorite couples. In the last book there was a significant amount of time that passes between the last chapter and the Epilogue. Well this book fills in that gap.

With the start of this book, we already know Daniel and Haley are it for each other. We get more of Daniel's declarations of love throughout this book. There is some unanticipated drama the couple goes through and yes people, there are more steamy moments between Daniel and Hales. Throw in the craziness that is Ian and Tasha, and there was no way this book could do wrong.
Absolute must read for fans of the Stark Series.

ARC received via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this series (and author!) and was surprised there was a third book coming having felt like the second one tied up loose ends and ended with a lovely epilogue. My skepticism was justified as this book reads more like a novella after the ending of the second book (before the epilogue), not a third book. It just adds minute details and backstory to how they reached the epilogue ending that was already disclosed. Kind of spoiled since we already know about the baby and their marriage plans. We get more humor out of Ian, and more sexy moments from Daniel, but having a novella showing an actual extended epilogue with new details of their married family life beyond with additional development/progression would have been more satisfying to me. Writing still great, this book just felt unnecessary.

Nice continuation from Inner Core, though with the epilogue from Inner Core, several plot events have already been established. The novel was still enjoyable, though there were some weird formatting issues with the e-book ad still issues with word usage (gratification instead of gratitude,
complacency instead of contentment, past tense instead of present tense, etc.). The novel needed another round of editing/ revision, and the plot was still predictable. Glad I finished the series and it was a sweet HEA for all.

My favorite characters are back! Daniel is just as swoonworthy and Hayley as relatable and lovable as ever. I loved this addition to the Stark series because Sigal stayed true to her characters. You know how in some series, the characters suddenly change drastically? Not the case in Outer Core. Outer Core is the sweet, sexy completion of Daniel and Haley's story. I loved seeing their lives come together so completely. They were meant for each other from the start. It took Haley time to realize just how much. Sigal makes her characters so so alive. They are funny, flawed and I want them all as my friends.
