Good Primer

Buy this book after learning the basics of mixing, EQ, Compression and Reverb. This book is useful for inspiring creativity concerning Mixing tools such as EQ, Compression, Panning and Reverb to add color, space, depth, and dimension, it has great techniques and suggestions, and also simple and straightforward language.

Basic with good suggestions

Very short book with a few tips and tricks to help engineers get the most out of their mix. I liked the inclusion of specific plugins which gave me a direct reference for the next time I mix.

Insightful

It’s such a refreshing insight. Most books only explain techniques blindly. The author really creates a foundation as to why certain things work.
