Unfortunately the word that best describes this story is overwritten. Though, somewhere buried under all the unnecessary scenes and repetition was a decent story, and of course, there was a ton of sex. And the sex was hot. But the h's reaction to it showed a lack of depth in the story - basically virginal Kara's only reaction to the extreme sex was 'ooh, that was hot.' The author gave her the emotional maturity of a turnip, which didn't allow me to connect with her in any real way. So, there was potential here; it just didn't pan out.

Four books, all in one place and four books I couldn’t put it down!
Unleashed had me entranced from beginning to end! This author is very talented and her writing is impeccable and addictive! As for Declan he is HOT with a Capital H, in fact these books are Hot from start to finish. Callie Harper had me wanting to submit to Declan from the moment I met him. I wanted him to tie me up and have his way with me! Phew.
I absolutely LOVED the Unleashed Series, and I’m so happy to have read the whole series! This amazing love story had a little bit of everything, mystery, suspense laughs, and lots of sexy moments… Hot, swoony moments.
Callie Harper’s writing is provocative and compelling. I absolutely LOVED the Unleashed Series, and I’m so happy to have read it!

Vol 1 –
This is a story about a young girl infatuated with a man since she was eighteen. Declan was forbidden by Kara’s father to go anywhere near his “princess” that summer he worked as his ranch hand. Declan resisted Kara’s taunting. He wouldn’t give in (and oh I so wanted him to) The story goes back and forth, past and present. These two had me enthralled from the beginning.
He leaves, without a good bye and she is heartbroken and devastated; Kara never got over Declan. Hell, I wouldn’t either! So, six years later, her father’s ranch is bankrupt. After being denied by all others, she goes to Declan for financial help; he’s now a successful business man, but he’s not just going to give her the loan that easily. Nope. He’s got a proposition for her....Oh and what a proposition it is! It had me yelling “Say yes Kara! The proposition? Seven days, and seven nights of no-holds-barred submission to his dominance. He won’t stop until he possesses all of her.
Will Kara submit completely to this commanding and controlling alpha? Will she be able to keep it all business?
Vol 2 -
The story continues and I absolutely LOVED how we get inside Declan’s head in Vol 2, we witness his feelings for Kara, which were not voiced in book one. So this was a sinful treat. Just when I think I couldn’t love him anymore? We get to see this tortured side of him…The feelings, the longing, the passion, the craving…And the LOVE. He’s a good guy, holding back, trying to do the right thing by her, and that makes me love him even more. The sexual tension and attraction is BEYOND anything I’ve read in a while. Off the freaking charts HOT, perfection!
Vol 3
Just when I thought this love fest couldn’t get any hotter? It did. Damn. Declan Hunt has to be one of the hottest book boyfriends I’ve ever met! Kara. God I love her! She’s such a sweet girl. Put these two together and the magic happens. BANG! I loved it!
Finally they’re together! But it’s strictly a business deal. Right?
Unleashed Three isn’t just about desire. It is about need, feeling, belonging, wanting and trust. I loved watching their relationship grow beyond the longing and passion that radiates from within the pages. More emotions and feelings come through and I fell even harder for these two. I loved seeing them spend the quality time together, not just the sexy times. We learn a lot more about Declan, making his character deeper, more loving and caring. We see Kara and Declan’s love grow; but of course there are bumps and the end of course will have your heart plummeting!
Vol 4
The conclusion to Declan and Kara’s journey did not disappoint me. Just when I thought I couldn’t fall any harder for this couple, I was proved wrong. AGAIN! Callie Harper satisfied my craving for this couple, but I still didn’t want it to end. I will miss them so much!

4.5 stars :) This was the first book from Callie Harper that I have read. It was a pleasant surprise, I really liked her style of writing, and dual POV. Characters were well written and their chemistry was very touchable. I'm leaving some space for 5 stars if another book in this series surprises me as much as this one.

Holly hello hot dominate Alpha male. I praise you Callie Harper and your amazing storytelling with sexy men and sweet loving woman. I don't know how you do it but you have entranced me from start to finish.
The first part of Unleashed is about a girl who has been infatuated with a sexy as sin man since she was 18. Part 2 is were you see Declan's side. You see the torment he felt and his true feeling for Kara. You see his passion, his craving for her, and the longing he has always had. Declan is such a good guy, even though he has a burning need for Kara he tried and holds back.There sexual tension and attraction is off the charts hot, it's a wonderful my kindle didn't burn up from reading it.

Part 3 OH MAN YES, I'm screaming from the roof tops, they are together at last. It's only a business deal though, right? Well those can always get askew when their is deep passions of the heart invovled. It is about need, feeling, belonging, wanting and trust. Their love grows from the young passion and longing they shared to this need to know everything. More emotions and feelings come through and I loved how they have this special bond for each other. Seeing them spend the quality time together, not just the sexy times makes you truly see that they are meant for each other. We learn a lot more about Declan, making his character deeper, more loving and caring. We see Kara and Declan’s love grow, with some bumps along the way.

Part 4 is the conclusion to Declan and Kara’s journey. Callie Harper satisfied my craving for this couple. It all comes full circle. This shows their bumps and bruises and heartache and devastation was all worth it in the end. I didn't want to say goodbye to Declan and Kara, they meant so much to me. This is never goodbye always see you later. I do highly recommend her books especially this one.

WOW!! Like seriously ladies, what did we do in life before we met Declan Hunt. This man is criminally sexy, dirty, dominant & utterly ruthless. AND I FRICKIN LOVED HIM!! Oh Callie, what have you done to my racing heart with this mouthwatering, jaw dropping read!!

Being a fan of Callie's, I knew this book would hit the mark, & omg did it just. From the very beginning I was pulled into the sweet innocent world of Kara & then sent barrelling into the dark, dirty world of Declan - it blew my mind. The feels & emotions that poured from the pages, were raw, passionate & all consuming. I couldn't get enough..

Declan - heart stopping, passionate, dark & dirty, wrapped up in the body of a book god - beautifully ripped, tattooed & fierce - yeahhhhh this man has it all in abundance. There was a time he had nothing, came from nothing - but not now. Successfully running his own empire, his wealth & assets are inspiring. He has transformed himself into a powerful, ruthless businessman who expects nothing but perfection. He exudes dominance & that doesn't only cover his approach to work, but his women too. This guy could seriously show Christian Grey a thing or two lol. It's been 6 years since he saw Kara, the only girl to get under his skin. He wasn't good enough then, just a ranch hand on her daddy's farm. The princess was out of reach, deserving more than he could ever give - but it's different now, he is different - he has it all.. She needs help, he needs to posses the one thing that has consumed his mind for 6 long years.

Kara - such a sweet innocent girl. Crazily beautiful, funny & like a ray of sunshine. At 18 she was Daddy's princess & life was easy, until she fell in love & got her heart broken in the process. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't forget Declan & never found a man that captured her heart or made her pulse race like he did. 6 years is a long time, life goes on & things don't always go to plan. She needs his help, he is literally the last resort. He broke her tender heart once & it never repaired, will he leave her shattered & broken again. Will she survive survive the new Declan Hunt.

Their story is a beautiful second chance love story, wrapped up in a dark & delicious blanket of desire. My heart ached at what was lost & hurt at what was found. Callie was masterful in making me laugh, cry & literally pant, as the character development played out, the twists & turns were revealed & 2 damaged hearts were rekindled.

A super 5 star read again from Callie & I can't wait for Ash!!.

As a new, but huge, fan of Callie Harper, I was so excited to read Unleashed! I really prefer to read a series in order, however, I started the Beg For It series with book #3 without even realizing it! I loved it so much I read book #4. Again, LOVED. So now I decided I've got to see how it all started and therefore Unleashed was next up for me. Well, Callie Harper, you've done it again! I really really enjoyed Declan and Kara's story and I am so glad I finally read it. I've got a much better understanding of their relationship, as well as the whole family dynamics. For that reason, I do recommend reading this series in order.

Unleashed is an epic tale of romance, told from alternating POVs in both the present day and 6 years earlier. At first, I wasn't sure I loved how the story jumped time periods so often and I really thought about whether I'd have been happier if it were told differently. But actually it works. Really well. I loved meeting young innocent Kara and bad boy Declan and seeing how they both matured and changed, and yet at the core, remained the same. Theirs is a story filled with emotion and angst. It's all there from love and happiness to anger, frustration, heartbreak and even a little suspense. Oh and hotness...LOTS of hotness. In fact this book at times felt more like erotica than just a romance. There are PLENTY of scenes that will leave you hot and bothered throughout the entire book. I did feel that perhaps there were a few too many. I'd have liked to have seen a couple of "fade to black" scene endings rather than all the details played out every time. It was a bit too much of the same thing over and over again. But the story is strong and so I was able to overlook that flaw and enjoy it without issue. I also felt like the book seemed a bit long at times, a bit too wordy. It seemed like the characters were often repeating their thoughts and feelings when we already knew how they felt and I kind of wanted to skim a little bit. But again, the story and characters held my interest enough to look past that.
Overall, Unleashed was actually not my favorite of the books in this series, but it is definitely one that I recommend. Especially if you like BDSM scenes, lots of them, as well as angst and emotional turmoil. Callie Harper has done a fantastic job with this series and I can't wait to see where it goes next.

Holy Sex-God on a platter...now that I've cooled off a little and can see straight after finishing, where do I start with my review for this series??!! Ok, to start with, Declan Hunt is THE sexiest, most intense, incredibly hunkalicious Alpha cowboy that you will ever meet!! But he's soooooo much more than that!

When Declan starts working as a ranch hand at the Brooks family ranch, it changes the course of two lives....Declan's, and beautiful, innocent, sheltered teen Kara's. The intense attraction that both are feeling (but can't be acted upon by virtue of a threat by Kara's father) just keeps getting stronger and stronger, until one night, it explodes like 4th of July fireworks! Unfortunately, it's not to be...

6 years later, Kara finds herself in dire financial circumstances, needing money to pay the bank, or she'll lose the ranch after losing her father! She's desperate, so she goes to Declan who, after being forced to leave Kara behind, hasn't forgotten the sweet, beautiful Kara, but he's become a cold, bitter man while building his real estate empire! They strike a bargain...Kara gets the money she needs for one week of no-holds-barred-whatever-Declan-wants sex in New York City!!! Can she keep her heart out of this business arrangement, or will she be left even more broken-hearted than she was before? Will HE be able to walk away from the ONLY woman he has ever had feelings for, or will his belief that he 's not "good enough" tear down what could be their happily-ever-after?

This series tells the incredible love story between two never-to-be-forgotten characters, through all the ups and downs, the angst, the suspense, the unbelievably HOT sex...I didn't want this roller coaster ride to end! I can't wait to read more from Callie Harper, my newest auto one-click author!

Declan and Kara met on her father's ranch. She was a pampered daddy's girl and he was just a lowly ranch hand with a messy past. Declan always felt like he was never good enough. But Kara saw past his exterior and saw the man he was inside. Declan never saw his inner worth, he knew Kara deserved more and her daddy even told him so. Six years later, her daddy's gone and Kara is in a tight spot. She needs Declan...in more ways than one. He agrees to help her if she gives herself to him completely for one week.

"The tables sure had turned. Back in the day, I’d been the spoiled, sheltered girl living up in the big house on the hill. He’d worked for my daddy, without a dime to his name. But now Declan held all the cards. He had the upper hand. And I was walking right into his den, the lamb leading itself to slaughter."

Entering into Declan's new world is completely terrifying and intriguing to Kara. But what scares her most is the man himself. He pushes her limits and forces her to open up and discover things about herself she never knew.

"She’d once had power over me. Now it was time to have power over her. Complete power."

The first half or so of this story is retold by going back and forth between the present and the past. While I don't mind this type of story telling, I found it was constantly cutting off right at the good part. I just wanted more! Unleashed has a good storyline and plenty of steamy scenes to keep you flipping pages.

Alpha man hotness! Loved Declan! Declan came to work for Kara's family as a ranch hand. Her father was very upfront with the fact that he wasn't to go near Kara. Kara and Declan had a summer of wanting each other, but never getting what they wanted before Declan left. When Kara's father dies, she is left with the ranch that is in financial trouble. Declan has made it big and she goes to him for help. He wants her just as much as he ever has, so makes a deal that if she will be his submissive for 7 days, he will help her. Kara wants Declan with everything she is, but doesn't want her heart broken again.

I loved this second chance story. Declan came from nothing and made himself into a financial giant, but he has never gotten over Kara. She was always his angel and the girl he could never have. Kara had always loved Declan and never understood why he pushed her away all those years ago. My only small dislike of Kara was she seemed so naive to life outside her ranch. Loved Declan's strength with everything that he had been through. His dark dominant ways were smoking the pages up. They had a lot of chemistry. My favorite part of this book was the ending when we get a glimpse at Declan's family and what is to come, after Kara and Declan find their happily ever after of course:) I hope to see more of them in the other books.

I absolutely loved Declan and Kara's story...
This book takes you through the journey that these two characters have taken, both together and apart... And how even when they were apart... They continued to be in each others hearts!!!
Full of twists and turns that will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions... Ensure a full box of tissues are at hand as you will need them!!!
The attraction between these two is so hot and when Declan introduces her into a D/s relationship... Be prepared for your underwear to disolve and your kindles to melt... Yes it's that hot!!!
A fantastic series and written with total perfection and detail to everything...
Ms Harper has become a firm favourite of mine as i was literally pulled into the story and held captive throughout... From the very first page to the last word!!!
I am patiently waiting (well trying) to find out what is planned next... What i can guarantee... Whatever it is... Is going to be mind blowing!!!

Caution panty melting Dominate Declan is irresistible. This a second chance romance that involves Kara a young ranchers daughter that is bankrupt after her fathers death. She will try anything to keep the only home she knows, She set up a meeting with Declan a former Ranch hand that has turned into a wealthy entrepreneur, who left their ranch in the middle of the night with Kara's heart. Declan will give her the money she needs if she agrees to one week af anything Declan wants . I really enjoyed the off the chart sexual tension between these two.I loved the flashback of when they first meet it really did make me understand how strong the feeling were between the two. I did find it got kinda drawn out and repetitive We get it she loved him and maybe I just wanted to hurry up and be together. Overall a great Sexy story with lots of Hot Sex.

A Second chance at something that was fought for so many reason. One he was the help and she was the cheerleader he wanted but could and shouldn't have touched. Declan has grown to be more than what is employer was when he worked on the farm where he fantasized about Kara.
She wanted him. Dreamed about him. He was her fantasy, but he was the help and dad told her to stay away.
Needing his hep after her father's death she is caught in a web she never thought of. He wanted her and now he has her exactly where he wants her, needing him.
Sexy, passionate and suspenseful this series take you on a thrill ride that only Declan controls. An amazing series that will keep you glued to your readers. Me I want Declan to grace my book shelf!
