I can see why it would be useful for some people but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. It did remind me to focus on certain things and not forget about others but the activities weren't very useful for me at the moment.

A free book that goes with a free OpenLearn course on the subject of strategies for learning. Good and important stuff, with plenty of ideas. For best results, use this alongside the Open University's free course.

brief

i picked this book as i am returning to university studies after many years, and found it to be short but thought provoking in terms of recognising how we learn. It didnt go into any specific details about learning theories etc, however it did provide several recommendations.
