What I Learned from the Richest Man in the World

Rate this book
Everything you need to know about achieving personal and financial success can be found in this delightful modernday parable.

Meet Mr. Everit, the owner of a wheelbarrow factory, and his management trainee. Together they teach us that life doesn’t have to be a struggle.

Contrary to popular belief, getting everything we want does not involve gritting your teeth and fighting each step of the way. Instead it means adjusting our changing attitudes – from a fear mentality to a wealth mentality. It means overcoming small and selfdefeating modes of thinking and taking care of people while life takes care of you.

“Alan Cohen is a major player in the spiritual revolution taking place today.”

A good read with a lot of takeaways. Life lessons are conveyed with fictional situational examples, analogies and as a dialogue between two people.
It flows fast (- the narrative), give it a try when you feel like reading some non-fiction.
Think of it similar to the lines of "The Alchemist" but not really close.. and not very far either.
I'd say give it a shot. May be, it clicks something in you and flips your way of thinking (about life) forever.

Few books are able to talk so much in such short sentences. Written as a fiction, the story is crisp and to the point. Get it to enjoy a couple of hours of optimistic thinking.
