3 ⭐️ This book was okay, but nothing special about it. The version I read didn’t include images, and I’ve already stumbled across most of these recipes on Pinterest. I feel there would be more value if this included tips on what base products to use (yogurt, milk, etc) what sweeteners (honey, stevia, etc) and what fruit and other ingredient portions.
This book is part of the Effortless Chef series and contains over 50 popsicle recipes. Who on a warm summer day doesn't want a nice refreshing popsicle and with this book you can have a different one for almost two months. Winner!! I picked a couple to tempt you with. The poolside pop is lemon lime with some fresh strawberries added for a crunch. (Crunchy popsicle. Sounds interesting.). The Kiwi Popsicle had Avocado and Lime. The United States Popsicle has Vanilla Yogurt and Sugar cones and popsicle sticks. It also is colored with red, white, and blue food coloring. (You don't need to wait for the Fourth of July.). I hope I have tempted you. I know I have me.
If I could have given no stars I would have. Typos and recipe inconsistencies throughout. Mentions special equipment in ingredients but makes no further mention as to what equipment they are referring to.
I love summer time and this books has given me a lot of good ideas for making my own popsicles. I love the cool refreshing flavors they have in here. I can’t wait to try some of the recipes.
Some of these looked very tasty.....others, well, maybe someone with a more adventurous tastebud might enjoy. I am going to try a few out once summer hits
Good recipes. Something for everyone. However, I thought instructions could be her written. Nice photos, but there did not always seem to be a corresponding recipe.
I love popsicles and I'm so excited to make some of the recipes in this book! The names of the recipes are fun and creative, just like the ingredients!!!
