As someone keen on delving into the intricacies of technical analysis and candlestick trading, I recently acquired "The Guide to Technical Analysis & Candlestick Trading" with high expectations of gaining invaluable insights and practical strategies. However, my experience with the guide left much to be desired.

One of the most notable shortcomings of the guide is its lack of clarity and accessibility. As an individual seeking to comprehend the nuances of technical analysis and candlestick patterns, I found myself grappling with the complexities presented within its pages. The author's failure to elucidate fundamental concepts in a straightforward manner hindered my ability to fully grasp the material.

Moreover, while the guide purported to equip readers with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the world of technical analysis and candlestick trading, it ultimately fell short of fulfilling this promise. Instead of offering actionable advice and tangible examples, the text often delved into esoteric terminology and convoluted explanations, further alienating readers who may be novices in the subject matter.

However, indeed there were few good takeaways from the book.

Maybe just me but, i cannot conscientiously recommend this guide to others seeking to deepen their understanding of technical analysis and candlestick trading if you are absolutely new to the game.

If u are new to trading, this books give a wonder full understanding of TA, in regard to Indian Market.
Read this book to understand the basics of TA, its enough to get u started.(Indian Markets Only)
What has helped me or from my understanding the following three books are good enough to get you going if you are really interested in the equity markets.

1. How To Make Money Trading With Candle Sticks. BM Sadekar
This is a kick start for understanding Candlesticks and combining them with western TA, trading psychology and money management is wonderfully explained.
2.How to Make Money Trading with Charts (Ashwini Gujral)
Again a good book tough to read, i would suggest to start with Candle stick book no 1 & Ravi patel book. Re read is required, concepts of markets and trading is wonderfully explained here, this books gives a solid understanding of how thinks of the market and his trading style. Again Very help full.
3.How to make money trading with Ichimoku. BM Sadekar
After grasping the basic knowledge, this book again gives a great understanding of ICHIMOKU, and how to trade for better results.
Again, this has helped me... but i had to re read numerous time all the books. It took me 3 months to fully understand the basics of TA. Now i can time the market, make some profits. I still loose, but i follow the basic Money management skills to keep my capital safe and growing in a healthy way.
