A presentation of Swami Vivekananda's Message of strength and fearlessness by the resident swami of the Vedanta Society of New York. Vivekananda's stirring words roused not only the nation of India, but many in the west who were glad to see that religion could be uplifting in one's personal life. As Swami Vivekananda said, Stand on your own feet...Think your own thoughts. Strength is religion."
Swamiji's words can always uplift our spirit and energy. Timeless teachings. His words were never empty words; they always came from a mighty soul. As if it possessed some hidden power that only he had.
One of my favorites from this short book:
"O ye modern Hindus, de-hypnotize yourselves. The way to do that is in your own sacred books."
Wonderful book to begin with , I happened to pick this work at the Ramakrishna Math in Hyderabad and impressed with the choice of works chosen by the author. I literally felt a chill in my spine as I read the first few pages , the script has invigorated energy in me and reminds me of the work we need to accomplish. Many of us lack the courage to take up tasks for some reason and this book is wake up call for everyone who believes in them or would want to learn where to begin to start believing in oneself. I feel I'm honored to be introduced to the greatest writers - Swami Vivekananda and his power to awaken the spirit through his work
Pure strength is shown in this small book that gives you hard time in understanding higher spiritual knowledge. It is well written thoughts of Swami Vivekananda and his approach to make this world clean.
I wonder the real answer from the real person what it would be when asked that if he ever get a chance to change the world, how he would do it. His answers to the most difficult questions are simple, "Find it yourself. Every answer, religeon, and mystery is known to you already. You just need to find them within you instead of finding anywhere else."
Swami Vivekanand is and was a great Guru who teaches us to live life. EveryOne should read all his books, it's not about any specific religion it about mankind and to live. It's applicable even today and will be even tomorrow. Pranam
The book gives a light on Swami Vivekakand's lectures, notes and his ideology to make people aware of their strengths, become fearless. It consists of message towards self Identification.
