I have watched some of the videos of Chris Haroun on youtube and Udemy before coming to this book that he advertised in different occasions.

I had a lot of expectations indeed

I hate networking and I don't know how to do it

After reading this book I still hate it and I still don't know how to do it, since this is just a very quick appraisal on how to use Linkedin pretty much

I am giving it 3 stars because you can see it is poorly written in a rush, with multiple typos, like most of the content of Haroun

Other than typos, and that sense of let me write this asap and get more people paying for my useless Udemy course, it repeats itself over and over again
Despite being very short I was looking forward to finish it, and I forced myself to do so

But after all, I am still looking for a proper book covering networking, I am sure there is better content out there

"Don't count the days, make the days count." -Muhammad Ali

My success rate in getting meetings with people I've never met before is 95%

It's so obvious the only place to get autographs from baseball players is at the baseball stadium.

George Bodenheimer: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_...) started out in the mailroom at ESPN, and 17 years later he was promoted to president of ESPN. I love stories like this!

David Geffen: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_G...) started out in the mailroom and eventually launched his own media empire by signing Nirvana, JohnLennon, Aerosmith, and manymore. He's worth $7billion

Simon Cowell… (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_C...) you know that dude from American Idol, he started his career working in the mailroom at EMI.

If I can't meet with somebody in person, then I do calls on my way home from work with them. I'll line up four or five calls in my 30 minute drive into San Francisco.

This book is about "How to get the most out of LinkedIn".

It's all about LinkedIn, it's features and how to use it "For Dummies".
Poorly written.
Haroun is selling and advertising himself (as always).
No science, just personal theories and perspectives and encouraging readers to sell themselves (like Haroun does).
I have skipped a lot of "How to xxx on LinkedIn", as I already know how to use LinkedIn, beside the steps are outdated as LinkedIn changed a lot!

This book is the same as any of Chris Haroun content ... just propaganda and advertising for himself and his products!

Was never going to read it unless Haroun mentioned it in his Udemy course!

the best title for that book is ``Networking through LinkedIn``,
that book encouraged me to talk to people on Linkedin and ask for help!
it shows you how networking became easy through LinkedIn now, and it's working!

the book is filled with quotes from self-help books, videos, and some exercises which I didn't do tbh.

I actually love Chris Haroun, I enjoy his videos and courses and that's why I decided to read this.
the book is available for free on Haroun education venture website.
good read!

It was given for free to me. A fast written and fast to read book which is OK for someonw who never saw the topic. Low quality but achieves its goal and contains many useful hints, specially for anyone who is new to the topic or barely discovered networking somewhere. I could recomend for someone new.

This book has some good pieces of advice and a lot of inspiration but lacks depth and technical content, also it references a lot of videos from Youtube, several of which are broken.
I give it 4 stars because the inspirational aspect of the book is interesting.

It had some good general advice. When I got to the N.M.E. scale I nearly dropped the book. I personally would not have written anything like that, I find the concept a bit strange -- and not in a good way.
