Lucy Ellis gives us such a fabulous, funny and totally endearing story in Kept at the Argentine’s Command, with the most adorable couple ever.

Both are attending the same wedding at a castle in the Scottish Highlands and their first meeting on a flight is absolutely hilarious. The fun continues when the two take the car trip from the airport to the wedding location.........black-faced sheep on the road, haunted hotel on the way..........dramatic, comical times abound!!!

The banter between these two is fabulous.........you can't stop smiling as you watch them "circle" around each other!! Of course, both have lots of emotional baggage!!!! We expect that - right!!!

If you love quirky, endearing, unforgettable and beyond "off the wall" characters, fabulous locations, great dialogue..........this HEA is just right up your alley!!!

I loved this book. I'm now going to search for more stories by this author!!

First of all it is not clear if the heroine is a virgin or not. She clearly states she is not but who knows. This heroine had serious issues, she needed therapy but besides that she was a a bitch, a harpy, a shrew. Avoid this book at all costs.

Adorable heroine...

I read a ton of Harlequin romances while I was on vacation but this was absolutely one of the best. I would never have gone for a story about, of all things, a polo player and a show girl but it was a super- cute and funny story and I loved her French accent and 1940s style of dressing. If you like a bit a drama and a lot of humor with great memorable characters this is the book for you!.

I really REALLY LIKE the showgirl harlequins that have been coming out and this one was just as good. It was a down to earth read and it dealt with things people experience in real life, such as phobia's and PTSD.

First off I love any and everything Harlequin Presents especially the pregnancy romances. Now this one was not a pregnancy romance although there was a pregnancy scare involved. The author gave me something different to read as far as the storyline. I've never read a book with the heroine with a medical condition. It was a great change of pace. Lulu had agoraphobia (had to google that) and Alejandro thought she was just some spoilt woman. They were both headed to the wedding of their best friends. He was best man and she maid of honor. There was instant attraction. Still lulu held her condition to herself until he whisked her off to his home country. There she opened up and Alejandro got to know the real woman. In the end, I enjoyed the book. I would have given it five stars but I didn't like the ending. It was happy but I wanted more lol

This was an ok read. But I think there's a plot hole? Why, when she barely manage a 2 hour plane ride from Paris to London, was any problems on the plane ride to Argentina never mentioned? I kept waiting for the author to write something about how the h felt safer on the Argentina trip because of the presence of the H.

Entertaining and beautifully written. Lulu was at times a thoroughly unsympathetic and unpleasant character, but the author thankfully showed us that Lulu understood how negative and self destructive she was being. Otherwise I would have given up and missed a fabulous read. Alejandro was just amazing. I loved him!

Lulu has a secret agoraphobia. She wont miss her best friends wedding cause of it. But when she runs into Argentinian polo god Alejandro du Crozier things go crazy. He hates weddings but as best man he must make it to this one. When things heat up he must take her back to his country Argentina to wait out test results. Can this unlikely affair go any more wrong? What happens if things don't go their way? Lucy Ellis is a new author for me. I will await judgement on her works when I read more of her works.

I'm amazed Harlequin would publish such a horrible book like this. I never hate a heroine so much before, it's not even worth 1 star. I really have to wonder the author make her character repulsive on purpose.

"Nice characterization and snappy dialogue make Ellis’ book a fun read. Lulu is almost comical in her petulance, and Alejandro is sexily annoying in his arrogance" (4 stars @ RT Book Reviews).
