The Town of Falcon's Hollow Needs a Miracle

The plague has come to the town of Falcon's Hollow, and not even the town's priest can abate its wretched course. With the coughs of the sick and the wails of the dying echoing through town, the local herbalist uncovers a cure, but she needs some brave heroes to retrieve the ingredients. Finding the cure means risking the dangerous Darkmoon Vale, infiltrating a witch's haunted hut, and delving the ruins of an abandoned dwarven monastery.

Hollow's Last Hope is a wilderness exploration and dungeon adventure for 1st-level characters, compatible with the world's most popular fantasy roleplaying game. This sixteen-page adventure includes details on the haunted forest and deadly ruins that hide the key ingredients to the town's salvation. Do your heroes have the skill and courage to find the cure in time?

This was Paizo's offer for 2007's Free RPG Day. This is one of their earlier modules and for being a free product is actually pretty good. The basic premise is a town that borders a forest is suffering from a new disease and the ingredients needed to cure it are out in the dark forest. This is a half wilderness and half dungeon adventure. The darkwood forest is where a good chunk of the adventure takes place while the surface ruins of an old dwarven monastery is the second main adventuring location. The Pathfinder modules are purposely made to have a loose story so that the GM running them has some playing room to fit it in to their campaign. If you want to run this as a solo game, a little work may be required to fill in some details. Overall, a good, simple, low level adventure for some newbie heros.
