All this is, is a book of lists of swedish words by catagories. Informative, yes, but hardly teaches you to speak Swedish in 24 hours. That being said, a list of the alphabet, calendar, family names, colors, etc. is very useful. But I wouldn't call that learning to speak Swedish in a week. And most of the Swedish words do not have pronunciations listed for them, so you're left guessing how to pronounce it based off the alphabet.

Needs a pronunciation guide!

See above. You will pick up some vocabulary by reading this book. But you will need more books to learn Swedish.
