#ReturnTheWitch, Part V

For context to #ReturnTheWitch, check out the spoiler at the end of my review for Sold to the Berserkers.

“My magic,” a woman’s voice rang out.

A blonde woman, her hair braided into a crown came forward, walking with a staff and a raven flying over her

Yseult is back in this installment. She plays an intriguing role in the plot. Is she here to make mischief? Or to help? The stakes are high and her help is critical.

"Magic always has a price. The greater the power, the greater the price."

Fleur may seem insignificant, like the weak link, but often in life those who may seem weakest end up playing a pivotal role in the futures of others. I don't rate this book 4 stars lightly. Compared to the other books in the series? I think it's one of the best. The mythology of the world Lee Savino has created is deepened, the stakes are the highest they've ever been, and there's a clever setting up of the spin off series Berserker Brides. I really liked the dynamic between all 4 characters. I was initially worried about the h having 3 main love interests. That it might dilute the romance, but the author put a lot of thought into their dynamic and interwove the role of all the characters into the plot in an excellent way. I was rooting for all of them. If you've read the previous books of this series and liked them, definitely give this one a try.

The Weakest is the Strongest

This is the final installment of the Berserker Saga. On one hand, I'm sad to see them go. On the other hand, the ending of this gives way to The Berserker Brides series.

For those that keep track, you may remember that I'm not a big fan of reading PNR but watching movies and TV or listening? Yeah, that is a WHOLE other story. 😁 I really like that the focus on wolves strayed a little to have another animal as a shifter. Don't get me wrong, those growly creatures do something to me but just knowing that there are other possibilities within the series is refreshing.

Fleur may just be the luckiest of the sisters. She gets THREE growly, bossy, hot men to keep her in check. Take that sisters! 😂 Arne, Erik, and Gunnr are determined to make her theirs. Things get as hot as they get dicey as trouble finds them and vice versa.

Again, Robert Ross gave my ears such pleasure. He is one of my favorite narrators. He always manages to breathe life into the words and his accent is very dreamy.

Story: 4 stars
Narration: 4 stars

Up until now this series was pretty straightforward. But things are changing. And that's good because I was getting bored without an overall plot to tie things together. So now we get to see that there's a bigger purpose to the existence of the Berserkers and their mates. It also sets the table for a spin-off series now that all of the sisters are happily mated.

This is the story of Fleur, Arne, Erik, and Gunnr. When Fleur and her twin sister, Muriel, are kidnapped the same night their sister, Sabine, disappears on her way home from the market, Fleur finds herself in a cage made of saplings, tall, broad and woven so tightly that there is no way to escape. She is the youngest of the four sisters, sickly and terrified by her surroundings. Fleur has a special power, the ability to see things that others cannot. She has always been chided for talking of such things because she is the only one who can see them. But she feels the inherent evil radiating from the things and beings she sees. Although she's frightened in her current situation, she senses no evil intent from her captors. Erik and Arne, two of the Highland Berserker pack, and a wolf called Gunnr are assigned to guard and protect Fleur. She is frightened of Erik and Arne at first. They are giants and she soon learns of their shapeshifting abilities and violent nature as Berserkers. But Gunnr, the wolf, is a comfort to her. She looks to Gunnr for support and peace and receives a sense of well-being from being in his presence. However, she finds out that Gunnr is yet another Berserker who is so close to losing his tenuous hold against his Berserker nature that he remains in wolf form so as not to harm anyone. Despite this knowledge, Fleur continues to draw strength from the huge wolf who follows her everywhere. As Arne, Erik and Gunnr guard Fleur, she begins to know and understand them. A connection is formed between the unlikely group and Fleur feels safe and protected in their care. As with her sisters, Fleur is to be given to a Berserker as a mate. It seems that the sisters are a sort of witch that can calm the beast in the Berserker and bring them peace and the ability to keep the monster at bay. But whereas Brenna was sold to her mates, Sabine was kidnapped by hers, and Muriel was a prize in a violent round of Games fought by Berserkers of both the Highland and Lowland packs, it is up to Fleur to choose her own mate from the Berserkers. But she has a time limit. She must do so by the next full moon. Arne, Erik and Gunnr share a bond, a brother bond. And because Gunnr is so unstable, Arne and Erik are deemed unworthy to be placed in the pool of Berserkers from which Fleur is to choose her mate. But the three have decided that Fleur is their mate and to that end, they take her, run from the pack, and hide. The pack is furious at Arne, Erik and Gunnr and hunt them to punish them and reclaim Fleur. Meanwhile, a centuries-old evil is attempting to arise once again and the object of its attention is Fleur. When the witch Yseult appears and explains to the four exactly what the evil is and that it must be stopped, they are skeptical to say the least. But Yseult has even more astonishing news. This great evil that must be stopped at all costs can only be stopped by Fleur. Fleur is confounded. How can she, the weakest and sickliest of her sisters, truly be the key to the destruction of such a powerful evil? As Arne, Erik and Gunnr become weaker as they fight the pack bond, the pack closes in on the quartet. Just as things seem their bleakest, events suddenly swerve totally out of control. Can Arne, Erik, and Gunnr fight the pack bond and remain strong? Will they have to fight the pack to keep Fleur? What is the true purpose of this evil that seeks Fleur. What does it want with Fleur and can it be stopped? There is a deeper purpose in all of this and events spiral out of control to a seemingly unchangeable conclusion.

Lee Savino has written yet another totally fascinating and thoroughly enchanting story that captivates and holds the reader enthralled. I was completely taken with this story. The changes in the story as it shifts from viewpoint to viewpoint of each character are so well-written that I couldn't stop reading. As with the previous books, it's full of magic, shapeshifters, a witch or two, and all kinds of excitement. I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of the paranormal, shapeshifters, erotic romance or all three. You will not be disappointed.

I would be remiss if I did not make one final comment. This is an ADULT book. It contains very adult themes, explicit language, and sexual scenes. If you do not enjoy erotic romance with explicit sexual scenes then please carefully consider your purchase before starting this series. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY BOOK IN A GENRE YOU KNOW YOU WILL NOT ENJOY AND THEN LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW OF THE BOOK AS IT IS NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHOR! She works hard to provide a quality work product and if you know before you purchase a book that you will object to the subject matter contained therein, you will be doing not only yourself, but the author, an extreme disservice. But if you do enjoy spicy, erotic romance, Ms. Savino's entire Berserker series is definitely one I would recommend.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Book 5 didn't disappoint. We got to see a heroine who was both feisty and sweet. She was tough when necessary but gave a lot of sweet to her guys as well. I enjoyed the spin of the Berserker's falling for her and "kidnapping" her to go on the run from the pack. It was a nice change from the imprison the girl and make her mine story line.

I really enjoyed Fleur's story. I liked that this had quite a different feel to it, with more emphasis on the story line and the suspense. That's not to say that there isn't plenty of steam, but it felt more of a balance of power between Fleur and her three Beserkers, rather than the 'do as we say or else'.

This book had a much stronger paranormal feel to it and I really enjoyed that part of the plot. The book also nicely set up future books in terms of brides AND battles to face. I can't wait to continue the adventures.

Very respetative

So I have read all the books in this series. It was hard to get through this one. The process was all the same as in the previous books. I got tired of the men punishing the women for "their own good" and then telling the women that they liked it. A victim of sexual abuse can get an orgasm, but it does not mean that they wanted it. This process kept on happening over and over and I am over it.

Berserkers continue to fascinate!!
Fleur is the last of the four sisters who must chose a Berserker mate (or more). Fleur has been consistently ill, and has had a vision that she will not survive the year, so does not want to select a mate only to then die. The main Berserkers who are guarding her take matters into their own hands – or paws as Gunnr is stuck in wolf form.
There is a reason Fleur has been ill; and dangerous magic in the area. Our Berserkers must heal Fleur and entice her to become their mate before the angry pack catches up with them.
Filled with danger, suspense, romance and sensuality; thank heavens Ms. Savino has created an opportunity for many more Berserker stories!!!

I received this book as a gift and I am going to give an honest opinion of it because I want to.
First of all if you have not read any of the books about the Berserker Saga then you really should. I don’t think this is the ending of the stories by as for the four sisters I think this is there round up. This book I started reading right before I went to bed. Bad mistake because I had to force myself to put it down and I picked it back up and finish it up today. This book will have you on the edge of you chair at times. It seems that each time I read one of Lee’s books they just get better and better.
Fleur is the youngest of the sisters and has as of yet to have a mate selected for her. Her older twin Muriel was mated in games of sorts and the winner got her. Well him and is bonded brother; no one else knew that they were bonded at the time. Fleur is going to be choosing her mates soon though she doesn’t want to. Erik and Arne are the two warriors that came into their hut one night and took off with her and Muriel. Muriel fighting so much they had to knock her out to get her to where she would be safe. Fleur had been sick and weak most of her life, with high fevers and severe headaches. So when they came into the hut she just backed into the corner where one of them just scooped her up. On the way to the camp she asked them questions to help with her fear.
When she was little she had told her mom that she saw people but her mother told her to be quiet that it was just her imagination because no one else could see them but her. However the strange men never went away, and with each time that she saw them she would get the headaches and fever once again not being able to eat and left being very weak.
It wasn’t until she had been in the Berserker’s camp that she noticed that the strange men had not appeared not until the day when Muriel decided that she really needed to go to the market and Fleur saw one. He was standing at the out skirts of the market place staring at her and following her as she went along. She was starting to get another headache with his appearance. Her two guards were with her but even with them there she knew that she needed to get away from there. She hurriedly tried to leave the market area saying that she had enough and wanted to go back when one of her guards noticed a foul odor something to the kin of rotting meat. As she turned the corner of the market place she ran into the huge black wolf it took her a moment to realize that it was Gunner; he was trapped in his wolf form. She grabbed him by then neck and gave him a hug. That is when she looked up and saw one of the strange men standing closer to her than ever. Before she could utter a word he pointed his finger at her and she suddenly got a nose bleed. Gunner started to whine at his brother Berserkers when suddenly Fleur went into seizures.
Rushing back to the camp Erik who was carrying her broke off from the rest of them. He told her that Gunner had found the scent of someone that was malevolent trying to follow them but he had clocked himself so that they could not see him. It was then for the first time that she told someone else about the strange men she had always seen and how they had made her sick each time.
When she became stronger the Alphas said she was to pick a mate or bonded brothers, she chose Erik, Arne, and Gunner, but the Alphas would not let her choose them saying that they were too unstable. That night Erik came in a kidnapped her to take her away from the pack. Gunner and Arne were keeping look out and making false trails so that the others would not find them. If the Alpha’s did it could mean their deaths.
Now comes the questions what is it do these strange men want with Fleur, her and her sisters are what is known as Spaewives; that is they were blessed with natural magic. Spaewives were the only ones that could calm the beast of the Berserker, and they were desperate to find them before the beast took over them. But Fleur didn’t know what hers would be she just felt weak, sickly and ugly all of the time. She had seen her death as she thought and didn’t feel as though she was worthy of being mated to Berserkers. How in the world are the three guys going to convince her that she is everything to them. How are they going to protect her from the strange men and stay away from the pack until they can be bonded together? What is it that these strange men want with her anyway? It sounds like it can’t be good, Oh, this book is fantastic, and I will say again a must read.

THE BEST FOR OUR CAPTIVE BERSERKER BRIDE

The story is an ongoing series, and yes, it could read as a standalone, but because of it in a continuation of the entire saga, would be best to be read in written order. The Berserker, are curse nomad warriors, that are a cross between men, wolves and inside them, a monster that needs to be tamed. For this survival, they need mates, and spaewives, also known as hedge witches, are the balm to sooth the beast.

Fleur’s three sisters, and her twin, Muriel, Brenna, Sabine, have all been claimed by men, and now it is time for Fleur to take a mate, or maybe as her sisters, bonded mates. Instead of a contest to win her, as what happened with Muriel, they tell her she can pick. What happens when she makes her choice known, and they tell her that it can’t happen?

Fleur has been haunted her entire life by what she calls the Grey Men, and it is an evil she can see and feel. This evil has affected her health and plagued her for her entire life, enough to cause her sickness and fever, and she believes she has seen visions of her death, and that time is drawing near. How can she take a mate, when the purpose is to sooth the Berserker in them if she is going to die soon? “This isn’t my destiny. I had seen my death and accepted it. I could not fall in love.”

Arne, Erik, and Gunnr are bonded brothers, and they believe that Fleur is to be their mate, but have been banned from her as a choice. They will take matters into their own hands and kidnapped her, taking her away from the pack and her sisters until they can mate but she must be willing, and her visions hold her back. “There are three things required for werewolves to mate. Mating bite, mating heat, and mating bond.”

The plot will come down to the battle for power, the evil of the Grey Men and Corpse King against Fleur, other Spaewives, the pack, and the rogue wolves of Arne, Erik, and Gunnr. In the end, what will win, good or evil? “Whatever creature controls the Grey Men has the power beyond a witch or warlock. The magic is tainted beyond any I’ve ever known. It is sorcery.” What will happen to the rogue wolves being away from the pack, even if they were to return, they would be punished, or even put to death? Are there more Spaewives and could this mean a future for the Berserkers?

The good news, there are more stories in this amazing, erotic series with the next book, Rescued by the Berserkers.

"Fierce Determination and Everlasting Passion"

What did you love best about Claimed by the Berserkers?
I loved the deep and endless devotion and determination that the characters exuded with in regards to their ultimate pursuit of sparing lives or the protection of their mate. No matter how hard the battle of submission was waged, the intense and unfailing love that flowed among these mates knew that it was a battle that needed to be fought and conquered in the right way. I was blown away by the depth of the love offered and the determination to make their mate see herself how they saw her. There was no limit to their love or the endless devotion that they laid at her feet.

What did you like best about this story?
I loved how even if no one else believed them, each followed their hearts until others came to the truth of what they already knew. Their growing love and fierce bond refused to be denied. This is a story of complete and utter surrender to the desires of the heart.

Which character – as performed by Robert Ross – was your favorite?
Arne was my favorite character. He won Fleur with his calming yet passionate spirit. He was the steadier of the group, and he was his mate's rock and voice of reason on many occasions. He was patient, and he was such a precious and needed soul and love in Fleu's world.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I loved when Fleu saw Gunner in his man form for the first time. She immediately remembered her dream, and was grateful that he came to her rescue. I loved that Gunner was finally able to hold and love Fleu as a man finally. After comforting and protecting her, he was able to touch, hold, and love her the way he had wanted to the entire time.

Any additional comments?
This is a fabulous series that I am just getting started to enjoy and savor! I can't wait to delver further into this amazing storyline.

Probably the best of the series thus far.

Weak, frail and sickly Fleur of Alba gets three mates instead of the standard two. Why? Because Fleur is the strongest of the sisters despite her appearance. Arne, Erik, and Gunnr aren't the usual berserkers. Arne takes the form of an eagle while Gunnr is trapped in his wolf pelt to control his beast. Fleur is given the rare option to pick her mate. Before she does, the trio flees with her as they have already chosen her as their mate.

Fleur has always felt an evil presence, which has made her ill for the majority of her young life. Fleur believes the Grey Man, who stalks her, is the harbinger of her impending death. After Fleur falls for the trio, she dares not mate with them because, as a seer, Fleur has seen her death and hides it from her mates to protect them.

Yseult is summoned again for answers; however, this time, her answers are forthcoming and helpful. Yseult explains the Grey Men are the protectors of the Corpse King who intends to rise again and devour all of the spaewives to regain his power, starting with Fleur. It will take the trio and Fleur working together to overcome the Grey Men and the Corpse King, along with help from Yseult.

There are predictable passages as with the previous four books in the series; however, this story has a more intricate plot that unravels with the appearance of the two new factions.

On my Were Scale of Hotness, 3.5 stars.

When they had arrived at the Lowland Pack's Fleur used to see the Grey Men all the time. Always watching with unblinking stillness like a snake. They were tall and rail think, hunched forward with sunken eyes. Now she has two bodyguards, Arne and Erik. It's been a year since they were taken and the first time her sister Muriel and her husband took her to the village and there, following her in the field was a Grey Man, watching, following. She long ago stopped asking if anyone else saw the things she did, everyone but Muriel. But even now, Muriel only saw an old man, but her guards could smell something rotten. When she became frightened and her guards asked what was wrong, pain immediately attacked her head and her nose started bleeding. It was time to leave. Gunnr rarely took his human form, instead preferring to remain as his large black wolf. He followed Fleur everywhere. You see, Arne, Erik, and Gunnr all shared the brother bond, so the three were always together .
What a terrific, awe inspiring book this one has turned out to be. This one held be riveted in place, heart pounding (whether from passion filled scenes or trepidation of what was to come) throughout the entire book. If you haven't started this series, shame on you, you don't know what you're missing. If you have, you won't want to miss this one. Lee Savino has outdone herself.

This was the sister, Fleur’s story in the Berserker saga series. I do love the storyline threaded through this series, I just don’t like what amounts to domestic violence that is wrapped in the “we need to keep you safe” canard. As with the other books in this series, Fleur seems to basically be their sex slave rather than their savior. While they do care (a lot) for her physical needs, the price they expect in return is too high - at least to me. The author does give plenty of warning and there seem to be a lot of people that don’t have an issue with this, so I did not take that into consideration with my rating, it is strictly based on the storyline, world building and character development.

Fleur is partial to the berserkers that took her from her home; Gunnr, Arne and Erik. They share a brother bond. However, Gunnr’s beast is so close to taking control that he remains in wolf form. Due to this, these brothers are deemed “not suitable” when it’s time for Fleur to choose her mate(s). They kidnap her in order to bond with her before the alphas can give her to another bonded pair in the pack. This puts them at odds with their pack, who are hunting them down as well as the Corpse King that is hunting Fleur, for her magic.

There is a lot backstory provided here around the reason the berserkers were created, and the evil they are meant to fight. Again, I loved the story here and even if the erotic parts were tempered or removed altogether, this book would still be able to stand without it.

Les'see now... Yup. Got me sumpin' sexy, summa dat magic, an' a witch, an'...

In Claimed by the Berserkers, Lee Savino doles out a hefty dose of 'sumpin sumpin' to keep us readers enthralled. A lil' sumpin' about scrawny, sickly, last-of-4-sisters Fleur, whose turn it is to find a Berserker menage and HEA. A lil' sumpin' about about her refusing, and the Berserkers who claim her by kidnapping, and sumpin' about there's THREE of them and one's a BIRD shifter and one is stuck as a WOLF... STOP THAT! Whatever you're thinking, just stop. I won't do spoilers so you'll hafta read the sexy D/s stuff for yourself to find out how THAT goes. And you can also find out who cursed the Berserkers, and who made Fleur so sick and weak, and how she goes all Jedi on his corpse... I SAID "NO SPOILERS" But there's so much happenin' in this book and I wouldn't for the life of me deprive you of your chance to find out for yourself: Claimed by the Berserkers is a totally awesome series entry and a wildly entertaining paranormal menage romance. BTW, thank you, Lee Savino, for the ARC, and here's my voluntary honest review.

What a fantastic conclusion to these sisters' romances! Fleur, the last of the four spaewife sisters, is allowed to choose her mates - from among the eligible Berserkers, only. But she's got too many other things on her mind to even consider settling down to domestic life like her sisters have. Fleur's always had more of an insight into the mystical world around them, and therefore recognizes threats that the others can't see.

Her choice of mates is taken away when she is claimed by the men who were declared too unstable to be eligible for her hand. As with her sisters, Fleur finds that her bond with her mates not only makes all the difference for them, but for her as well. As the story unfolds, we're give all the remaining puzzle pieces to the history of this amazing world and what Fleur's true role is in it.

This book completes the stories of these four sisters, but it opens up the entire world for the remaining unmated Berserkers and promises many more wonderful books in this series for us Berserker fans. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This 5th book in the series takes a slightly darker route. Before Fleur can choose her berserker mate she is kidnapped by a trio whom the alphas consider unstable and therefore not suitable. In this tale they split from the pack and go on the run, add to that we find out the cause of Fleur's lifelong sickness and the evil behind it. Through it all there is romance and yep plenty of sexy times.
These books all contain scenes that some may consider abuse (I guess in real life it could be considered as such) if this is a trigger for you maybe these books are not what you are looking for. In the context of these stories I consider that they are overall sexy and romantic, something I have come to expect from Lee Savino, whether it be a solo work or a joint effort with another author.
Although these books could be read as stand alones, I would say it is worth reading them in order. A really enjoyable series and I will go on to read The Berserkers Brides series.

Interesting & intriguing storyline

The fifth book in the Berserkers Saga. This is the ménage shifter storyline of Fleur, Gunnr, Arne, & Erik. This is an interesting story. There is much intrigue and suspense. You are constantly kept on edge as to what is going to happen next in the story. The chemistry and heat between these four is instantaneous. Fleur tries to deny her feelings because she has a vision that makes her think she shouldn’t bond with this band of brothers! One again the witch, Yseult, helps these four complete the mating bond. There are surprises in this one about these shifters’ and their bond. What an interesting HEA for these four. This story is a dark romance with some very hot, sexy, & bdsm scenes. I love this series! The story continues in the next series the Berserker Brides.

Disappointed

I guess I cannot handle men humiliating women just so the woman is obedient and feels pleasure. Why not have the women undergo female circumcision so they cannot feel anything if the men want to degrade her? I just wish you had more stories like the first 2 where the women were strong and exhibited more of a mutually balancing role with their mates. The degradation of making a woman beg for sex or is treated as a pet is absolutely cruel and I dislike the last 2 for that reason. I guess if I feel sad for the female character because the treatment by her purported “mates” means it was too much. Sorry, but I am not into degradation and humiliation of the woman. I wish Fleur had stood still to refusing to mate and leave to look for a normal life.

This novella is the story of Fleur.

The Alphas let her choose her mates.
Fleur is the weakest of all the sisters, she's been sick all her life and now she has a vision that she won't survive this year.

There is dangerous magic in the area and that's why Fleur is ill.

Fleur is kidnapped by her guardians Arne, Gunnar and Erik because they couldn't stay away from her and the Alphas don't trust them because they are unstable.
Arne changes into an eagle instead of a wolf because of his grandmother, which is a nice twist.

Fleur thinks she's the weakest, but in the end she's the strongest, and with her mating bond, she's thriving.

Lee Savino did an excellent job with Given To The Berserkers! Lee continues to build her world and characters, both seeming so real that the reader might think they know them in the real world.

Sage, along with all of the other potential spaewives, are kept away from the Berserkers who could be their Mates. When she meets her Mates, it is a fierce attraction on their end and a slow build on hers. Sage is strong and protective, I liked that!

I love that the Author took the time to build the story and characters. There was no rushing, but we all fall in love with one another. It was sad to see that book end and I simply cannot wait for the next read!

"Baby sister comes out swinging . . ."

Those twins had hidden talent that took them all by storm. This time out we have sickly baby girl, Muriel. She finds that she has more to offer her family and the packs than just her body. We also find a deeper level to the purpose of the berserkers and the spade witches. There are things her the explain a lot and captures your attention for more to come. I loved the process of Muriel bonding with Arne, Erik, and Gunnr. The Grey Men and the Corpse King all play their parts well.

I just wish that Robert would have rose to the level of the story and the new deeper direction. We have more brides for berserkers and more bonding coming forth.

As with Muriel, Fleur`s twin sister, Fleur was taken to mate with the Berserkers but to also protect her. Muriel`s potential mate had to compete for her. Fleur is given the option to make her own decision. Unfortunately, who she is friendly with are deemed to be inappropriate as mates. As a result she is claimed and taken by her mates from the pack. She too learned the ways of the Berserkers. Fleur`s story has not only the layer of mysticism to it that is in her sisters` books, but as well there is a shadowy evil involved in this plot. A very intricately woven fantasy tale. Ms. Savino you have a great and vivid imagination!

Good reading. Highly recommended for mature readers.

Fluer is no fragile flower

Claimed by the Berserkers by Lee Savino is another interesting and thrilling installment in the Berserker Saga. Despite the common theme of the previous four books, this one stands alone and is quite unique with three shifters mated to one then leaning more toward the magic of this series. I really liked these characters, all of them different and interesting. The plot was gripping and suspenseful which kept me turning pages as quickly as possible. The chemistry is off the charts too, another reason this one was hard to put down.
Overall a very well written paranormal romance book

So good!! Another great book in this series. This time FMC mates with 3 berserker wolves. The berserkers end up kidnapping FMC. She wanted to mate with her kidnappers but the alphas said one of them wasn't stable enough. He's close to beasting out and has been in his wolf form for a long time. His 2 brothers are hoping their mate (FMC) will help his beast to calm enough for him to get back his man form.
I couldn't put this book down either. I loved it. The male berserkers are so caring and loving with their female mates. And protective most of all.
Book contains punishments, sex, dominance, etc....
I wish these were part of KU.

The fifth book in an intense and very alpha shifter series. Berserkers who need their mate to help tame their beast. A woman with just the right magic for them. She must submit to her mates but in return they will love and devote themselves completely to her. This one brings the youngest and feistiest of the sisters story and the three (yes 3 males) who will claim her. Love the devotion of the males. And boy are they alphas. Things really go beyond steamy by the end.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Wow, these sisters have been threw so much. Who knew that the sister that appeared to be the weakest could just be the strongest.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
The alphas are allowing her to choose her mate due to how weak she is, but who she wants is unavailable to her.
So they take her and run, but are the running from danger or too danger?
Lots of twists and turns in this one, some questions are answered but I personally would love to know what happened with the witch 🙂.
Love this series and Robert does a great job of reading.
I listened to this on Audible.

Little flower

Claimed By the Berserkers is book five in the series Berserker Saga by author Lee Savino. This story is about the last sister which leads to a astonishing discovery an abbey full of spaewives - perfect mates. But that’s another story altogether. In this story the characters (well at least one must), must learn to accept their destiny. A story of strength, courage and selflessness.
Within these pages will also be introduced to a great evil - the Corpse King.
Enjoy!!
