United we stand, divided we fall

Once again reunited, the Lucky Thirteen set out to hunt down their adversaries—only to be met with an entirely new set of unexpected obstacles. As much as Bree is burning to finally get her revenge, it soon becomes obvious that on their own they are no match for the forces opposing them. Adrienne does it again!!!

I swear I didn't expect to fall head over heels in love with this series the way I and so many others have. I've been a zombie apocalypse story kinda girl since I started my love affair with reading over 10yrs ago. (I'm not trying to date myself horribly bad) this is by far one of the GREATEST series. I have not one damn compliant except I was at 1st upset there was only going to be six ***spoiler alert*** but now that there are more I'm super excited. lecters writing is so down to earth and real life you feel more like Nate and Bree are the friends you'd need-want when the zombies rise. I love how Unity basically tied everything up tho in a way that was true to the series. It wasn't at all too mushy it was a perfect blend of heartache and happiness. I'm just a little bit upset there wasn't more Gore to the end of Taggard but hey its only BC Lecters writing style truly makes me hate that man with a true passion. I feel more like Bree deserved to tear that man limb for limb but realize for the good of everything it had to be quick and easy. I truly recommend this to all zombie apocalypse lovers young or old like me. I wish you would make a TV series out of these even if just for me, not a movie BC that will leave to much out but a series is truly my one wish for these books. If course I'd love to play Bree well maybe Breed sister that hasn't been mentioned yet as long as I can have a leading man like Nate. Seriously though I love how its a badass bit*ch who in the beginning just 5short books ago was just finding herself that's the main Character unlike most of these types of books where a man is the lead role. I've went on long enough anyone who can stop here is nuts. There will never be enough Bree and Nate for me!

Brutally brilliant

I've waited for what seemed like for ever for this book...it was definitely worth the wait. The books get better and better and Unity is no exception. The book is basically the title. Our heroes somehow manage to unite what's left of the human race in a bid to defeat a sadistic man and his army. I've got to admit I adore Bree, Nate, Pia and the rest of the lucky thirteen. No spoilers here but if your a fan and have already read the first 5 books, be prepared to be sucker punched more than once. The writing again is excellent. Full of sarcasm, dry humour and gut wrenching scenes that had me hiding my breath! Adrienne has hit the ball out of the park with these books and I was disappointed that this was to be the final book but to my surprise the amazing author is treating us to not just 1 more book but 4! I'm a huge fan and can't wait to read what comes next for Bree, Nate and the rest of the survivors.

Trigger Warning...

In Unity, Lecter once again surprises me with her take on the zombie apocalypse. Bree finds herself outnumbered and locked away in book six. Tormented by none other than Hamilton's lackey, Taggard. Lecter doesn't hold back the atrocities of what evil men are willing to do to women in the apocalypse. Shocked and surprise is an understatement of what I read from Lecter. For those more sensitive readers, head up. But for me, it was just another brutal truth and real world expectation of this nasty new environment.

Another important thing to mention is Lecter reveal more of her mystery solider serum project by opening doors to evidence of the beacon, the lack of Raleigh Miller's virology notes, and Bree's decline to lead Aurora lab. Blame begins to be placed on various groups, settlements and new mysterious settlements begin to arise. Lecter is revealing just enough to keep you glued to the series.

Great story

First, this is a really good story. Great premise. I've enjoyed the world (new) building. But I have to say, it feels like a man is writing this series. Mainly because the female lead is utterly unlikable. She's a narcissistic whining bitchy self absorbed person. She argues for the sake of arguing. She constantly snarks, scowls, glares, etc. OVER EVERY DECISION that isn't hers, but then states "of course he's right " The male love interest hates women, in an extremely masonginistic manner. The whole dynamic is confusing and literally adds nothing to the story. As a matter of fact, it detracts. So much so, that I'm not sure I'll read any further. I'm not invested in the lead characters. I don't care what happens to them. Honestly, I was hoping she would die. I'm honestly not sure what the author was going for. Anyway if you can get past that, you'll enjoy the series

Beautiful wrap up

This was a beautiful and heart breaking series. And it ended perfectly-tho I will be reading the extra books because I love Bree and Nate- And as much as I love this series, It hurt my soul. These poor characters. I don’t know how much more loss I can handle. This is getting real and painful. Still the series is amazing and emotional and rough and heartbreaking and written so well. Martinez and burns are my favorite secondary characters and I don’t know if I can handle losing anymore guys lol. It was beautiful also beautifully wrapped up and as sad as I am about the people we lost in very happy with the people what was saved.

Utterly Brilliant.

A compulsively, compelling and very readable book. I was gripped from the first word to the last. I love each of the characters, especially the main ones and some more than others. I feel by this stage in the Green Fields series that I kind of of tag along with them and their dislikes and mistrust have become mine as well. By the end of this book, it becomes apparent that blind trust in some people that just because you have known them for years should not be automatically given everyone has their price in the end except for the select few but who are they? I totally recommend this series, it's excellent.

Exciting, Full Circle "Ending"

I've always been a huge fan of this series, and this book only reinforced my love. It has a LOT of "full circle" completions and appearances of characters from the previous novels. I AM excited that there will be three more books, but loved this one almost as much as the first one. (The first Green Fields book is one of my absolute favs.)
If you're a fan of zom-poc fiction, give this series a shot- you won't be sorry. The character development is top-notch and the action-packed parts are well balanced.

I give this book a very weak 3 stars. I started it fairly soon after I’d finished the last one. Read a good amount of it, got bored with it and put it down for over a year. When I picked it back up I was reading it just to finish, I was no longer invested. The series started out long but by the end it had just dragged on for far too long. “Jumping the Shark” is the term that comes I mind to describe the situation.

Book six

What can I say? Another eventful ride through the Zombie Apocalypse. This one tied up all the loose ends and brought closure to a lot of questions. One of the best series I’ve read in some time. Please go back and start a book one. You will also fall in love with the characters and love every minute of the adventure. Now on to book 7!

Loved the series.

I thought the series was excellent over all. The only thing I found issue with was the science parts, but I think that has more to do with me not understanding than anything else. The characters were great, and I found myself thinking very much along the lines of Bree when it came to Nate and vice versa as well.

Slower than the others a bit.

This one was just a bit slower than the others but not to bad. If you're already reading the series great. If not, I wouldn't start here. Even though the author adds a "what happened so far" I think the slower nature of this one might not grab a new reader the way the previous books so far would.

Good series!!!

Good series!! I was a little lost in this book for some reason! I couldn’t follow all of the running around and keep up with all the groups that joined them.. The ending was good and I’m looking forward to the next couple of books!! Oh And I’m so happy that Bree finally said “love you” to Nate!! Finally!!! Lol

This has been a very good series! This one made me rather sad, because so many people have betrayed Nate, who can he trust? Bree comes out shining, but not without making many enemies herself. And yest the apocalypse still has the people who will make things up, just because..... Still it was well thought out and flowed together well.

Omg

I have never read book after book to the point that nothing else matters. Not cooking dinner, or house work, shit I even forgot to do our laundry and its Sunday. I love it all, the characters are well developed, the geographic descriptions are amazing I could even smell the bloody gore. Thanks for that experience

Good series

Good read but a few to many pages waited on the to main characters getting it on. Seemed like a go to when the author got stuck or filler even. Good series though with a well conceived and intricate plot saves the series

Don't stop now

It's hard to believe that 6 books in and the story is still fresh and not repeating itself. Not only are those things true, but it's still a story you get wrapped up in.

I'm definitely reading #7

I love these books...2 weeks self isolation with covid and they've kept me sane... I'm out of isolation and straight into shielding for 12 weeks..
What better way to sit out a worldwide olague, than to read a post-plague series?

This is a uniquely well written series. I am still annoyed by Bree and Nate both. She is a scratchy person and he is very passive, at least in their relationship. It could be said he trusts her skills and intelligence but he goes a bit far I think.

Still a very good series.

This is sorta the end, as in, you can stop reading here while still getting a wrap-up, but you can also choose to read the other 6 books since book 12 is the official end.

This series pulled me in so quickly! I listened to it in audible which I highly recommend as the narrator is amazing! The characters are so fun, their banter and inner dialogue pulls you in enough that you want to be apart of the team!

This book is excellent. The high action and snarky attitudes do not disappoint! The series itself is addictive and I hope it never ends.
