I am interested in developing websites for my business and would like to learn about the key factors that will help me create an effective and attractive website. What basic principles and tips can you share for success in web development? What technologies and tools should be used? I would be grateful for any useful information.

Another big book (900 pages). Some good stuff, but a lot of it will already be known to anyone who has already done a lot of work in web development.
