When I read a tech book, I'm looking for a closer level of detail than can be gained at the average tech talk. Most of the chapters of this book are like the tech version of a motivational speaker session. It might lift your morale for a few hours, but doesn't really give you much of lasting value.

Also, the typos drove me crazy it kept spelling "its" as "it's".

It's a good appetizer. It doesn't go deep, but it gives you interesting tips of and strong points you can have in mind for further investigation and self study.

Basically just transcripts of various presentations on API related topics. Quite shallow.
