Unexplained Encounters: Ridiculous True Stories of The Unusual, Creepy and Just Plain Strange

Rate this book
Even though we have mastered flight, sent a man to the moon, and immersed our daily lives in the world wide web of information, there is still a lot of mystery left in the world. And there are people who have claimed to have directly encountered this world of mystery.

From stories of people who see strange lights in the sky, to those that have actually claimed to have visited other times, dimensions and worlds completely unknown to life’s average traveler.

These brave sojourners have found themselves face to face with humanities worst fears, darkest questions, and most confounding confusions and (most) have lived to tell the tale.

These are the stories that are sometimes frightening, sometimes creepy, always unusual, and often enough, downright ridiculous. We will never know everything that exists in the unknown bandwidths of life, but it’s entertaining to try nonetheless. So sit back, relax, and get ready for some mind blowing excursions into the unknown...

This is a short fun book of the unexplained. Some are familiar like Mothman and the Kentucky alien visitation in the 1950s but some were not only New to ME but utterly bizarre.

If you like all things Fortean this is a great starting point.

Okay this one was fun. These stories cover many unexplained encounters with unusual beings. Think Bigfoot, Aliens, Angels. I loved the story of a man's "recollection " of traveling to another dimension where all the Beatles are still alive and still playing music. Every Story is taken with a grain of salt, but fun nontheless.

Loved !!!!

I enjoyed this immensely. I even learned a few things about Frankenstein and Vlad, The Impaler !! I had no idea their paths crossed. I'm so impressed, I'll check out the authors other books.

Great Collection of Unusual Tales

This short read was a collection of unusual tales from Max Mason Hunter. Most of these I am familiar with, though there are a few that I was not. All were enjoyable and some were fascinating. This is a great collection of tales for those who enjoy strange tales.

Though it was entertaining to read about these weird stories, it wasn't written very well. I could have done with less of the author's voice and interjections and more about the weird stories.
It was a short, fun read but I wouldn't have read it had it not been free.

Great stories!

These stories were very interesting. I enjoyed them all. I wish the book was longer. These stories were very strange. I liked the story about the men in black. Very creepy stuff.

I would not bother with this book, which is a re-hash of old stories. I was looking for something more scientific.

Intersting, easy to read short true tales of the paranormal. I enjoyed reading this and I admit some of them really scared me!

Very interesting, scary at best. Some stories I have read or seen on tv. Others I hadn't heard of.
Thank you
